Many believers struggle with ineffective prayers for unsaved loved ones because they approach God passively, asking Him to do work He has delegated to us. God's will is for all to come to repentance, but spiritual birth requires the incorruptible seed of His Word to be planted in the soul. The soul functions as the womb of the spirit, and this ground becomes hardened by worldly influences. As believers, we have authority and responsibility to sow God's Word, intercede for softened hearts, and yield our tongues to the Holy Spirit's utterances. Rather than asking God to save people directly, we should pray for laborers to be raised up, take authority over demonic influences, and actively plant the seed of God's Word in conversations and relationships.
