• 52 | The Four Mindset Shifts Women in Real Estate Said Changed Their Business and Their Life
    2026/09/02

What if the thing standing between you and the business - and life - you actually want isn't your market, your clients, or your schedule... but the way you've been thinking about all of it?

In this episode, Lesa shares four powerful mindset shifts that real clients said transformed not just their business, but their entire life. These aren't tactics or strategies, they're the internal shifts that made everything else possible.

    💡 In This Episode

    • Why focusing on outcomes instead of activity changes your energy and your results
    • How to train yourself to see what's working instead of only what's broken
    • Why giving yourself grace is the shift that makes every other shift possible
    • What it really means to prioritize yourself "on purpose" — and why it's the most professional thing you can do

🎯 This Episode Is For You If

    • You've spent years chasing goals you're not even sure you still want
    • You're your own harshest critic, and it's draining your energy
    • You keep telling yourself you'll prioritize yourself "later"
    • You're ready for a mindset shift, not just another to-do list

🌿 A Small Shift to Try Before you go to bed tonight, write down three things that worked today - three wins, no matter how small. Do it again tomorrow. Notice what starts to shift.

  • 51 | The Lead Generation System You Never Built Because You Never Had To - Until Now
    2026/08/26

If you’ve been in real estate for 15, 20, or even 25+ years, you may be noticing something: business feels different.

Referrals aren’t coming as steadily. Leads don’t seem to show up as easily. And the relationships and reputation that once kept your pipeline full may no longer be enough on their own.

After a recent dinner conversation with two longtime real estate colleagues who said exactly that, I knew we needed to talk about it.

In this episode of Balance for Women in Real Estate, I’m breaking down why many experienced women in real estate never built an intentional lead generation system, because for years, they didn’t need one.

But the market has changed. Consumer behavior has changed. And your approach to generating business may need to change too.

The answer isn’t more hustle, more social media, more cold calling, or trying every new lead generation strategy you see.

It’s creating a simple, repeatable lead generation system that fits the business, and the life, you want now.

    In This Episode, You’ll Learn:
    • Why referrals and reputation alone may no longer create a consistent pipeline
    • The difference between lead generation activities and a true lead generation system
    • The three essential pieces of a sustainable system: visibility, relationships, and follow-up
    • Why trying to do more when business slows down can actually make the problem worse
    • How to use the relationships, credibility, and experience you’ve already built
    • Why your lead generation strategy should support your life—not consume it
    🎯Your Action Step This Week

Take a few minutes and answer these four questions:

    1. Where did my last five clients come from?

Look at the actual source of each client rather than assuming you know where most of your business originates.

    1. What am I currently doing every week to create new opportunities?

Focus on what you do consistently—not what you do occasionally when business gets slow.

    1. Where are leads or relationships falling through the cracks?

Consider your follow-up, database, past clients, referral relationships, and visibility.

    1. What two or three lead generation activities can I realistically commit to doing consistently?

You don't need ten strategies. You need a few intentional activities you can repeat consistently.

  • 50 | You Don't Need More Time - You Need Your Time Back
    2026/08/19

If you’re constantly saying, “I just need more time,” the problem may not be your schedule.

For many experienced women in real estate, the real issue isn’t time management — it’s that too many people and too many things have unlimited access to their time.

In this 50th episode of Balance for Women in Real Estate, Lesa challenges the traditional idea of time management and explores what it really means to take ownership of your time, protect your priorities, and build a successful real estate business that leaves room for your life.

You’ll learn how reactivity, doing everything yourself, treating everything as a priority, and leaving yourself off your own calendar can quietly steal your time and contribute to burnout.

Because better time management isn’t about figuring out how to get more done. It’s about getting the right things done while still having time and energy left for yourself and the people you love.

    In This Episode, You’ll Learn:
    • Why you may not have a time-management problem at all
    • How constant availability keeps you in reactive mode
    • Why doing everything yourself is costing you more than time
    • How to identify what actually deserves your attention
    • Why your personal priorities belong on your calendar too
    • How boundaries, systems, support, and delegation help you reclaim your time
    • Why your definition of success can — and should — evolve as you do
Your Action Step: Do a Time-Back Audit

Pull out your calendar from the last seven days and take an honest look at where your time actually went.

    Ask yourself:

    1. Where did my time actually go? Look at what really consumed your days — not just what you planned to do.
    2. What did I spend time on that didn’t require me? Identify what could have been delegated, automated, templated, eliminated, or delayed.
    3. Where did I allow someone else’s urgency to override my priorities? Notice where you unnecessarily rearranged your day or responded immediately.
    4. Where was I on my calendar? Look for the time you protected for your health, relationships, rest, joy, and life outside of your business.

Don’t use what you discover to judge yourself. Use it to decide what you want to change.

  • 49 | Tired Isn't Your Love Language - The Burnout Reality Women In Real Estate Need to Hear
    2026/08/12

Are you tired of being tired?

For many experienced women in real estate, exhaustion has become so normal that we barely question it anymore. Between clients, closings, lead generation, family responsibilities, and the pressure to always be available, burnout can start to feel like simply part of being successful in real estate.

But what if it doesn't have to be?

In this episode of Balance for Women in Real Estate, Lesa Frye challenges the belief that working harder, being constantly available, and sacrificing yourself are requirements for building a successful real estate business.

If you've ever thought, "Creating more balance sounds great, but will it actually work for someone like me?" this episode is especially for you.

Lesa shares why the habits that helped you build your business may not be the same habits that will sustain you in this season—and why creating healthier boundaries doesn't mean sacrificing your income, your clients, or your success.

    In this episode, you'll discover:
    • Why burnout and exhaustion have become normalized in the real estate industry
    • How being highly capable can actually contribute to burnout
    • The hidden beliefs that keep experienced women overworking and over-functioning
    • Why being constantly available doesn't necessarily make you better at serving your clients
    • How to recognize when your real estate business is running you
    • Why boundaries, systems, and intentional decision-making can create a more sustainable business
    • How to redefine success in this season of your life
    • Why creating a profitable, peaceful, and sustainable real estate business really can work for you

You don't need to become less ambitious.

You don't need to stop caring about your clients.

And you don't need to walk away from the success you've worked so hard to build.

You may simply need a different way of doing business.

Because your business should support the life you want to live, not consume it.

If you're an experienced woman in real estate who is ready for more success without more sacrifice, this conversation will help you begin questioning what you've accepted as "normal" and consider what's possible instead.

Listen now and discover why tired doesn't have to be your love language, and burnout doesn't have to be the price you pay for success.

    2026/08/05

Your to-do list isn't a mountain you climb once - it's a treadmill. And no matter how fast you run, it's never going to say "done." In this episode, Lesa breaks down why the never-ending list keeps successful women in real estate stuck in burnout mode, and how to stop treating an empty inbox as the price of admission for peace.

    💡 In This Episode
    • Why busyness has quietly become a stand-in for self-worth, and why that trade is rigged from the start
    • The real reason every task on your list feels equally urgent (hint: it's not because they are)
    • Three simple mindset shifts to reclaim your time management and your evenings, starting tonight
    • Why "the list will never be done" is actually the most freeing sentence in this episode

    • Burnout, time management, and work-life balance feel like the story of your business right now
🌿 A Small Shift to Try

Tonight, pick your top three priorities for tomorrow - before your day starts, not in the middle of it. Everything else waits its turn. Notice how it feels to close your laptop with things still on the list... and choose peace anyway.

  • 47 | Has Your Mindset Convinced You Your Business Comes First?
    2026/07/29

She wakes up and checks her phone before her feet hit the floor. Runs the to-do list before she's brushed her teeth. And somewhere in that first hour, without ever noticing it happening, she hands the entire day over to her business. Sound familiar?

In this episode, Lesa unpacks the quiet mindset shift that convinces so many experienced women in real estate that their business has to come first - before their bodies, their relationships, and their own wants. She walks through exactly how this pattern takes hold, why it's so hard to spot from the inside, and the shift from "employee of your business" to "CEO of your business" that starts to change everything.

    💡 In This Episode
    • How capability quietly turns into obligation, and obligation turns into identity
    • The one question almost no high-achieving real estate agent can answer anymore, and what that silence reveals
    • Why putting your business first often feels like virtue instead of self-neglect
    • The real, specific costs of a business-first mindset (not just "burnout" in the abstract)
    • The shift from Inner Employee to Inner CEO, and why it changes everything
    • Four practical, doable ways to start reclaiming your own wants this week
🌿 A Small Shift to Try

Before you open your laptop or check your phone tomorrow morning, ask yourself one question: what do I want today? Not what the business needs - what you want. Let that answer come first, even in one small way.

  • 45 | Is Your Time Management Costing You More Referrals Than You Realize?
    2026/07/15

What if the reason your referrals have become less predictable isn't the market, but your time management?

As women in real estate, it's easy to spend every day responding to client needs, solving problems, and putting out fires. But when every hour is devoted to serving current clients, there's little time left to nurture the relationships that generate future business.

In this episode of Balance for Women in Real Estate, Lesa Frye explores the connection between time management and referrals, and why protecting time for relationship-building may be one of the most important business strategies you implement this year.

Whether you're a Realtor®, mortgage professional, title representative, home inspector, appraiser, notary signing agent, or another woman serving the real estate industry, this episode will help you rethink how you're investing your time and why small, consistent actions can lead to more predictable referrals.

    In This Episode You'll Learn:
    • Why poor time management can quietly reduce your referrals
    • The difference between urgent work and important work
    • Why relationship-building should be part of your weekly schedule
    • How experienced women in real estate can create a more sustainable business
    • Simple ways to reconnect with past clients and referral partners
    • Why referrals don't happen by accident—they're cultivated through consistent connection
    Key Takeaway

Your business doesn't grow because you're constantly busy.

It grows because you intentionally make time for the relationships that create trust, loyalty, and referrals.

If your calendar leaves no room for relationship-building today, your pipeline may remind you six months from now.

🌿Ready to Build a More Profitable, Peaceful, and Sustainable Business?

If you're tired of feeling busy but not seeing consistent referrals, I'd love to help.
