  • Boston’s Night Shift Brewing + Italian Food So Good It Made Dedra Angry
    2026/07/02

Episode 14 - We’re wrapping up our Boston trip with one last brewery stop, and this one deserves way more time than we gave it. In this episode of The Adam & Dedra Show, we visit Night Shift Brewing in Boston after a full day in Salem, squeeze in a couple beers before closing, take in a beautiful waterfront sunset, and somehow end the night with Italian food so good it makes Dedra angry.

We kick things off with Lunch from Maine Beer Company, a smooth and dangerously easy-drinking 7% IPA, before diving into our quick stop at Night Shift Brewing. Adam tries Double Parked, an 8.5% double IPA, Dedra grabs the hazy Fluffy, and we bring home Pie Scraper, a pumpkin pie ale that sounded amazing but didn’t quite hit the fall dessert dream we were hoping for.

Then it’s off to Boston’s North End for dinner at Quattro, where brick oven pizza, linguini with clams, halibut acqua pazza, wine, fresh bread, and sauce-dipping happiness completely steal the show. We also cover Boston concert crowds, waterfront fishing, weird brewery bathrooms, almost-Uber mistakes, and why Lake Pleasant may only have one tired fish that everyone takes turns catching.

    Cheers, everybody.

  • Salem Beer Crawl: Notch Brewing, East Regiment & A Witchside Tavern
    2026/06/25

Episode 13 could not have worked out better if we planned it... because this time, we’re taking the show to Salem, Massachusetts. That’s right: our spooky-numbered episode just happened to be about witches, Hocus Pocus filming locations, old New England buildings, tourist shops, breweries, chowda, fried shrimp, and one very dark beer that looked like it came straight out of an oil pan.

In this episode of The Adam & Dedra Show, we recap our day trip from Boston to Salem, including stops at Notch Brewing, East Regiment Beer Company, Witch Side Tavern, and Dire Wolf Tavern. We talk about Salem’s witch history, Dedra’s love of Halloween, Hocus Pocus nostalgia, the difference between Salem and Boston, and why missing a train sometimes just means you get one more beer.

Our featured beer for this episode is Chai Marty from Prairie Artisan Ales, a bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with espresso, chai, and honey. It clocks in at 13.6% ABV, which means it fit perfectly with Episode 13 and Salem’s spooky little vibe.

If you love craft beer, brewery travel, New England food, Halloween, Salem, Boston day trips, or just watching a husband and wife turn a vacation into a full beer-and-food adventure, this episode is for you.

    Cheers!

    2026/06/18

Episode 12 - In this episode of The Adam & Dedra Show, we’re taking the Boston beer adventure back to Massachusetts with a trip to Trillium Brewing, a surprise Tree House Brewing beer garden, and one dangerously smooth 10.7% quadruple IPA: Tree House Haze Infinite. We break down the hazy IPAs, porters, barrel-aged stout temptation, brewery food, and the chaos of trying to experience Tree House without actually making it to the brewery.

We also dive into our Boston food stops, including Trillium’s empanadas and Asian spare ribs, a massive crab and shrimp BLT from Faneuil Hall, live music in the rain, questionable brewery hats, missed merch regrets, and the kind of travel planning mistake that ends with buying 20-something cans of beer from a Tree House kiosk.

If you love craft beer, brewery travel, hazy IPAs, Boston food spots, Tree House Brewing, Trillium Brewing, and husband-and-wife banter with a side of food-fueled chaos, this episode is for you.

    2026/06/11

Episode 11 - Adam and Dedra take The Adam & Dedra Show to Boston, Massachusetts for a craft beer-filled visit to Sam Adams and the Boston Beer Company brewery in Jamaica Plain. In this episode, they recap their stop at the Sam Adams Downtown Taproom, their behind-the-scenes R&D brewery tour, exclusive small-batch beers, a barrel-aged Boston Lager they still can’t stop thinking about, and the dangerous featured beer of the episode: Beer Zombies 16oz Love Letters West Coast Triple IPA.

Along the way, they talk Boston food, rainy weather, late-night pizza at 21st Amendment, getting skunked at Cheers, hunting for a real Boston accent, and why the craft beer experience is always about more than just what’s in the glass. If you love brewery tours, craft beer travel, Sam Adams, Boston food stops, hazy IPAs, barrel-aged beer, and funny husband-and-wife podcast banter, this episode is for you.

  • Arizona Wilderness Pregame: Hazy IPAs, Surprising Barrel Aged Program & Episode 10 Chaos
    2026/06/04

Episode 10 - In this milestone 10th episode of The Adam and Dedra Show, we head back to one of our favorite downtown Phoenix spots, Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. on Roosevelt Row. We stopped in before a Diamondbacks game for a little pregame action, which of course meant hazy IPAs, food, laughs, and Adam using “due diligence” as an excuse to order a full flight of specialty barrel-aged beers.

We kicked things off with Mini Super from Societe Brewing Company out of San Diego, then dove into our Arizona Wilderness visit, including Every Day is Earth Day, Death to IPA, a few Co-op specialty releases, and a surprise barleywine that Dedra actually enjoyed. We also get into their Wicked Chicken sandwich, duck fat fries, homemade ketchup, and why their downtown Phoenix location is such a great spot for beer, food, and patio time before a game.

Of course, because it’s us, the episode also takes a few turns. We talk Memorial Day weekend, shout out breweries supporting veterans, celebrate episode 10 with spirit fingers, deal with allergy voices, and somehow introduce “Glado” (the guy version of the smoking, New Jersey born voice character of Dedra called "Gladys") to the world. It’s craft beer, food, baseball, and ridiculous conversation... exactly the kind of chaos we love.

Come for the beer, stay for the food, and leave with another Arizona brewery to add to your list.

    Cheers!

  • We Pregamed the Podcast… Then Talked Bone Haus Brewing and Our 65-Mile Drive
    2026/05/21

Episode 8 - We pre-gamed it on this episode which shows especially at the end of this episode. Haha. Great times!!

In this episode of The Adam and Dedra Show, we take a very worthwhile road trip across the Valley to visit Bone Haus Brewing in Fountain Hills, Arizona... a brewery packed with killer beers, amazing views, spooky pirate-skeleton vibes, and one dangerously competitive scavenger hunt.

We talk through our favorite beers from the visit, including hazies, West Coast IPAs, stouts, prickly pear ales, and the standout Octavo Año collaboration with Wren House. Plus, we kick things off with an “Old Fashioned Friday on a Thursday,” debate whether a chocolate peanut butter stout pairs with bourbon, and share why Bone Haus is absolutely worth the drive from Buckeye.

Cheers to great beer, great people, veterans, bone dogs, and breweries that feel like a full-on experience.

    2026/05/14

Episode 7 - We hit The Wandering Tortoise in Phoenix for their Sour Fest, and things got deliciously out of control. Between smoothie sours, hazy IPA palate cleansers, Nelson’s Fish Market ceviche, a poke banh mi sandwich, and Dedra freezing in perfect Arizona weather, this episode had everything we love: craft beer, great food, questionable decisions, and plenty of laughs.

Before diving into the beer lineup, we stopped by Nelson’s Fish Market next door for their Peruvian-style ceviche and a poke banh mi that almost ruined our drinking day in the best way possible. Then it was off to Sour Fest, where we tasted our way through beers from Great Notion, Drekker, rAr, WeldWerks, Trillium, Toppling Goliath, Everywhere, North Park, and more.

Our big winner of the day? A tropical smoothie-style sour from Great Notion that was so good we had it more than once, shared it with friends, and brought a can home.

Dedra debates buying a Nelson’s Fish Market hat, we discuss why fries will always beat salad, and a giant paper straw nearly becomes the main character.
