このコンテンツについて
On January 17, 2008, 21-year-old Denise Amber Lee, was abducted from her home in North Port, Florida while she was cutting her two-year old's hair on her porch. Five 911 calls were made, including one from Denise, after her abduction. However, due to inaccurate logging of the 911 calls, police did not catch Denise's abductor, Michael King, in time to save her. After Denise's murder, Denise's husband, Nathan Lee, successfully sued the police department. He subsequently led for a 911 call reform on the police's policies and procedures. Nathan was able to implement changes to the state of Florida's 911 policies. He then created the Denise Amber Lee Foundation to improve 911 procedures throughout the United States.
