CAMPING WITH RICH AND THE NORTH BEACH BOYS
In this fun and funny episode, Rich and his North Beach Boys go to Camp St. Francis, where every year they cook three gourmet meals a day for 150 kids. (Rich happens to own one of California’s best, most popular Italian Seafood restaurants, Sotto Mare, located in the heart of San Francisco, North Beach.) The Salesian camp is a paradise, especially for these city kids. Located on a steep bluff overlooking ocean and beach, where the kids swim and play softball (75 players to a team, and everyone participates). The highlight of this episode is when Rich and the North Beach Boys reminisce about when, as kids, they went to this camp. Now grownups with kids and grandkids of their own, they volunteer every year to help a new wave of boys and girls have the time of their young lives.
It’s a great listen. Joyful and, at times hilarious
