  • Two Kinds of People — And the Decision That Heals with Jennifer Juniper
    2026/10/09
What if the root of a chronic illness wasn't only in the body — but in the wounds we never healed? In this powerful episode of That Will Nevr Work, Maurice sits down with Jennifer Juniper, transformation coach, founder of Jennifer Juniper Healing, and creator of the Gut Instincts Healing Method, to share the story that changed her life.

When Jennifer was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, a doctor told her there were two kinds of patients — those who suffer and those who get better — and the only difference was a decision. She made hers, and spent the next 30 years "following her gut to heal her gut," tracing her symptoms all the way back to unresolved childhood trauma, perfectionism, and the patterns holding her back. Jennifer opens up about the connection between the body and buried emotion, blending biology and belief, breaking out of survival mode, and reclaiming clarity, vitality, and inner authority. If you've ever been told to just "live with it," this conversation is your invitation to decide otherwise.

(This episode shares a personal healing journey and is not medical advice.)

  • Why Winning Stops Feeling Like Enough with Janylene Turcotte
    2026/10/02
You've done the work. You've succeeded. You've held it all together — and yet life still feels like a solid 7 out of 10, with a hollowness you can't quite name. In this eye-opening episode of That Will Nevr Work, Maurice sits down with Janylène Turcotte — strategic hypnocoach, ICF-certified coach, and clinical hypnotherapist trained by Marisa Peer and Paul McKenna — to explore why so many high-achievers feel empty at the top.

With more than 1,300 sessions and 20+ years in the corporate world (up to the executive level herself), Janylène explains what's really happening in the subconscious when external wins stop feeling like enough — and what it actually takes to rewire it. They dig into the "invisible ceiling," why the mind alone can't break through it, how beliefs formed decades ago quietly run the show, and how to move through transition with more clarity, ease, and power. If your success is real but the fulfillment isn't, this conversation will show you where to look.

  • The Problem Isn't Your Child's Brain — It's the Map with Russell Van Brocklen
    2026/09/25
What do you do when a bright, curious child looks up and says, "I'm just dumb"? In this deeply moving episode of That Will Nevr Work, Maurice sits down with Russell Van Brocklen — "The Dyslexia Professor," founder of Dyslexia Classes, and creator of The Writing Method — to talk about nurturing self-belief in dyslexic kids.

Russell knows this struggle from the inside: severely dyslexic himself, he was told he'd never read at grade level, and today he reads at a graduate level. Drawing on Yale brain science and his own New York State Senate–funded research, he explains why traditional school teaches to a brain many dyslexic kids don't have, why accommodations give access but not skill, and how starting with a child's genuine interests can unlock reading and writing two or three grade levels above where they're stuck. Most importantly, he shows how rebuilding a child's skills rebuilds something even more precious — their belief in themselves. If you love a child who's been written off, this conversation is a lifeline.
