  • # 28 - When the Character Finally Breaks
    2026/07/27

After a tech mishap deleting my planned episode this was a “sit down and see what happens” kind of recording. I reflect on turning 39, grieving the version of life I thought I’d have by now, and what the past year has forced me to confront.

I talk about healing, dating after loss, disappointment, gratitude, getting older, and the difference between simply getting through life and actually allowing it to change you.

I used to think that growth came with time, or that eventually I’d wake up feeling like the person I imagined I’d become. Instead, I’ve realised that some lessons don’t arrive until life quietly holds up a mirror.

This episode is about the stories we tell ourselves, the expectations we carry, and what happens when life gently (or not so gently) breaks character.

Because maybe falling apart isn’t what’s happening at all, maybe we’re just finally meeting ourselves…

As per, no neat answers, just the lessons I’ve learned along the way and a reminder that progress doesn’t always look productive, healing isn’t linear.

    Thanks for being here!

    Stevi x

  • #27 - Childfree, Not Carefree
    2026/05/13

In this episode, we speak openly about being childfree in your late 30s, the grief that can sit beside freedom, and the strange ache of realising life didn’t unfold the way you thought it would.

This is not an episode about regret, and it is not an episode about motherhood being the only meaningful path.

It is a conversation about altered timelines, grief, womanhood, aunties, emotional survival, being taken seriously, and the quiet pain of living outside the story society still expects women to follow.

For anyone who has ever looked at their life and thought, “this isn’t quite how I thought it would go,” this one is for you.

  • #26 - When everything changes (including you)…what now?
    2026/04/08

For episode 26, I sat down after a conversation and a bit of a spiral, to be honest, and just hit record. I didn’t have a structure, or a clear point, I just had a lot of thoughts that felt like they needed somewhere to go.

This episode is about what happens when something in your life changes you to the point where you don’t recognise yourself anymore.

The shift in how you see yourself.

    The way your relationships change.

The drop in your tolerance for things you used to accept.

And the uncomfortable reality that not everyone is going to understand the version of you that comes out the other side.

I speak a lot about grief in this episode, but more as the catalyst, not the whole story.

It’s really about change, identity, and the refinement that happens when life forces you to look at everything differently.

There’s also a real conversation around self-worth, emotional responsibility, and the moment you realise that what you thought was strength… might have actually been avoidance.

Just an honest conversation about becoming someone new, and learning how to navigate that when nothing feels familiar anymore.

  • #25 - Are you actually ready to be dating?
    2026/04/02

Well folks, this one came out of nowhere!

I sat down to record something completely different and ended up talking about something I have spent a lot of time thinking about recently…which is that a lot of people are dating before they’re actually ready…

We talk about how it feels to call something connection when it’s actually coming from a place you haven’t faced yet, why it feels different every time even when it isn’t, and why you keep ending up in the same patterns.

This isn’t about avoiding relationships, it’s about understanding where you’re choosing from, because we loooooooove accountability over here at TMG

  • #24 - The Refinement Era
    2026/02/10

Episode 24 starts as an ad-lib yap and turns into a deep dive into communication, grief, refinement and the uncomfortable shift from survival mode into actually showing up again.

After spending much of 2025 in a quiet season of grief, introspection and massive personal change, Stevi reflects on how loss reshaped her voice, her relationships and her tolerance for surface-level living. She talks honestly about feeling unavailable, questioning her worth, redefining her boundaries and learning that depth will always replace volume.

This episode explores how communication shifts when your life changes, why refinement often comes with friction, and what it means to step into a new year knowing action is required, even when fear is still sitting in the passenger seat.

It’s raw, reflective and very much a reminder to show the hell up, speak honestly and stop accepting anything less than dang magic!

  • #22 - Love bombing or obsessive cycle? The truth about modern dating patterns
    2025/08/27

We talk about love bombing like it’s something that just happens to us. But what if it’s not that simple?

In this episode, I’m unpacking why I believe “love bombing” isn’t as simple as one manipulator and one victim, it’s often two people caught in the same obsessive cycle.

One giving, one receiving, both chasing the high of validation.

I share my own story of spiralling thoughts, the need for validation, and why I think modern dating culture feeds these addictive patterns, ghosting, breadcrumbing, constant contact, dopamine hits...and here’s the kicker: obsession isn’t love, and it’s definitely not romance. It’s a cycle that needs healing, not romanticising.

If you’ve ever found yourself swept up in the rush of someone new only to crash just as hard, this episode might help you see the pattern for what it really is, and give you a new perspective on how to break free from it.

  • #21 - Anchors for the days that try to take you under
    2025/08/11

This isn’t a list of clichés or Pinterest quotes.

It’s the real, messy, practical stuff that got me through some of my darkest times. In this episode, I share the points I jotted down, the reminders, habits, and mindset shifts that helped bring me back to earth when everything felt too heavy.

These are the things I still come back to, because they work. Not because they’re magic, but because they’re simple, doable, and real.

If you’ve been feeling scattered, overwhelmed, or just a bit lost, maybe something here will be the thing that helps you hold on.
