UTS Grand Final is once again upon us and the line-up has never been better with top seed Alex de Minaur looking to defend his title and the likes of Andrey Rublev looking to stop him! Join us for a very special Interview episode recorded from London where Kim & Chris are on site and interviewing the players ahead of the competition sitting down with Casper Ruud, Francisco Cerundolo, Ugo Humbert, Tomáš Macháč, David Goffin and Adrian Mannarino. They asked the players about their 2025 seasons, the highs and lows as well as the energy they are looking to bring to 2026 as well as Casper opening up about becoming a father to a daughter in the new year and the advice Lorenzo Musetti gave him!

Kim asks the players how they spend their time in London as Chris delves deeper into the string tension of Mannarino, Cerundolo having no clue there was a UTS Grand Final and asks Ruud how it felt to play in a Colosseum in front of Emperor Patrick Mouratoglou in Nimes!

On today's pod, we look back on the 2025 WTA season which saw Aryna Sabalenka keep the number 1 ranking for the entire year but the grand slams were shared between Aryna, Madison Keys, Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek. The year saw some incredible performances and shock results from Madison Keys winner her first grand slam tile in a fairytale run to Swiatek rebounding on the grass to deliver a historic double bagel in the Wimbledon final. Joel, Kim and Chris hand out their Tennis Weekly awards celebrating the good the bad and the fumbles! They also share their new favourites such as Victoria Mboko and Alex Eala who had breakthrough years on tour and vote for their match of the year. They also debate which was the match of the year: Swiatek vs Keys at the Australian Open or Anisimova vs Sabelanka at Wimbledon as well as call out some bad behaviour from Sabelanka and Ostapenko on court and in the press room.

The trio also look back on their personal Peak's, Pits and Pleasant Surprises of the year in Women's tennis as well look forward to another incredible season in 2026.
