  • US Open Day 3 - Gauff's straight sets masterclass + Eala impresses in opener
    2026/09/02

It was another late, late show at the US Open! Coco Gauff battled through to Round 2 with her remodelled serve, whilst Alex Eala made a confident start in front of a raucous Louis Armstrong crowd. We also celebrate Gael Monfils turning 40 with a vintage performance (and a bagel!), while Venus and Serena discover their doubles opponents — can Serena serve up some Maya Joint Wimbledon revenge?

Alexander Zverev somehow survived a five-set epic against Lorenzo Sonego that finished just short of 2am. But was this actually the perfect match Zverev needed to kickstart his title bid — or another warning sign? Elsewhere,

The Day Session also brought more debate and rain, as Taylor Fritz cruises past 18-year-old prospect Darwin Blanch, Flavio Cobolli pulls off his first-ever two-set comeback, and Elena Rybakina begins her World No.1 chase with a win over Thea Frodin. Plus, Madison Keys survives a typical Madi rollercoaster, Mirra Andreeva advances, and we look ahead to Day 4 with Alcaraz and Sabalenka under the Ashe lights.

  • US Open Day 2: Alcaraz back with statement victory + New York fashion download!
    2026/09/01

In today’s episode, we break down an absolutely packed Day 2 of the 2026 US Open! Carlos Alcaraz makes a triumphant, pain-free return to Arthur Ashe after a 139-day wrist injury layoff, sweeping Roman Safiullin in straight sets. Meanwhile, world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka kicks off her quest for a historic three-peat with a no-mercy victory over Camila Osorio, and Iga Swiatek looks completely dialed in against Wang Xiyu.

We also dive into the heavy emotional storylines of the day: Naomi Osaka’s gritty double-tiebreak thriller against Anastasia Zakharova, a vintage heavyweight clash between Stan Wawrinka and Matteo Berrettini, and Stefanos Tsitsipas pulling off a massive 4-set upset over 10th-seed Arthur Fils.

Plus, you know we had to talk about the fits! We review the best and boldest US Open Day 2 fashion—from the day session heat to the custom prime-time night kits under the New York lights.

  • US Open Day 1: Djokovic's historic round 1 exit and late night heartbreak for Venus Williams
    2026/08/31

That’s a wrap on a dramatic Day 1 at the US Open! Novak Djokovic is OUT in the first round of a Grand Slam for the first time since 2006, losing a five-set battle to Mariano Navone in the New York heat. After the concerns over his physical condition in Cincinnati, just how significant is this defeat for his pursuit of Grand Slam No.25 — and what does it mean for Djokovic’s future? There was late-night drama on Arthur Ashe too, as Venus Williams made US Open history with the latest-starting and latest-finishing first-round match ever. She pushed Sofia Kenin to a second-set tiebreak before bowing out — but should she continue to receive wildcards?

Plus, Barbora Krejcikova is already heading home (no Sabalenka match-up R3!), Jessica Pegula makes a strong start to her World No.1 bid, and Daniil Medvedev gets through comfortably — chewing gum and all. We also have mixed fortunes for the Brits with Toby Samuel cracking the Top 100, some Federer nostalgia being inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Stan Wawrinka wracking up the airmiles in more wildcard drama, and a look ahead to Day 2 with the return of defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.
