The countdown to Wimbledon is well and truly on, and there is plenty to unpack from a dramatic week on the grass courts. On the ATP Tour, Francisco Cerundolo claimed the biggest title of his career at Queen’s Club, while Frances Tiafoe made history in Halle by becoming the first American champion in the tournament’s history. The grass-court season is officially underway, and there is no shortage of talking points from a busy first week on the lawns. The day has finally come after 3 years, 9 months and 7 days - Serena Williams has played a professional tennis match. We unpack the straight sets doubles victory for Serena and Mboko over the number three seeds and assess just how well Serena is playing.
