Where God wants to make change is first in us. If God doesn't do something in your inside, innermost being, inner man than He cannot use you as a vessel of change. Change of life starts in the inner man. God wants to do this by equipping us with His salt. The salt of Christ protects you from all unrighteousness. Because there is no sin in Christ, the seed of God keeps us from sinning. God's salt also preserves you. The preservation of Christ keeps our life fresh not allowing it to ever become stale. Will you allow the salt of Christ to affect your heart, spirit, and inner man.

All that God wants to do in this time of revival is based on a newness. If we are going to be new, then the old obsolete life must be evacuated. God doesn't see the old as useful or valuable. If God were to put the newness of His spirit into an old life both the vessel and God's impartation will be wasted. Being a new cruse is not an option to be vessels of change it is a requirement. If you are not new, then there's no way you can impart change into any place or any person.

As we've come to a critical point in our study of The Life of Change, we must make a decision: Are you a servant or a citizen? As a new believer in Christ now you are to be God's servant, attending to His every need. Only servants are given assignments in the kingdom. We see Jesus when He needed something he asked a disciple to do it. Without becoming a disciple, a believer will stay a child and forfeit his godly inheritance. Discipleship is the process of becoming like the Son so that we can partake in God's inheritance. Outside of discipleship a believer will stay immature and be useless in the kingdom.

What better life to live than one that hosts power and indestructibility. The life that Jesus came to give us is this exact life. The life of change is not a powerless life with no authority or control. In fact, it holds the key to every solution to every problem on earth. We also see that this life is one of resurrection. If a person has not shared in the death of Christ to self, then they are unable to host this life of change. Only when a person has suffered the loss of all things (forsaken all) then can they enter into a life that can bring change to their surroundings.

Our impact on another's life will only be as efficient and effective as our knowledge of God's Son in us. Many have ceased in their pursuit to know Christ in a deeper manner, leaving them to be of little use in the kingdom. Jesus called twelve, that they could be with Him, not to do errands for Him. Our primary pursuit should be knowing Christ. For how can we share Him if we do not know Him? The revelation of Christ in us must be the primary pursuit before we are allowed to touch the work of God. How well do you know Him who lives in you?

Jesus tells his disciples that they are to be the salt of the earth. Salt is an important ingredient in being a vessel of change. Salt sanitizes and purifies whatever it comes into contact with. Sugar, on the other hand, brings decay and unwanted sin to a believer's life. We must be the salt if we want to make an impact on our communities.

The first call to being a vessel of change is to become a new cruse or container. To be made new God has to remake you into a vessel that is different from who you are now. For God to use us to bring change we must first be emptied of all the old life. We must bring ourselves so that God can produce a change in us that we then can influence a change into others. Have you been made new? The second aspect of this is God's liberty. When we are made new God frees us from the old. Our liberation in Christ is how we can bring liberation to others. Have you been delivered so that you can help bring others into deliverance?

What's wrong with our world? We lack people who carry the life of change. The reason our society is in constant decline is because the life of Christ is not multiplying out those who call themselves Christians. Our mandate is to make many disciples; to be fruitful and multiply. This multiplication of Christ back in the days of old caused the whole world to turn upside down. Many back then turned to God.
