Today on Tassie Footy Life, we’re joined by a name well known on the local footy scene, Brent Dolliver. A life member, premiership player and bona fide legend of Dodges Ferry in the SFL, Brent has built a reputation as a passionate leader and tactical mastermind. In 2024, he stepped into the Statewide competition as assistant coach at Clarence, a role that earned him plenty of respect.

But when the senior coach was controversially let go at season’s end, Brent made a shock move across the Eastern Shore to arch-rivals Lauderdale, taking the reins as senior coach in what would become one of the boldest transitions in recent memory.

Fast forward to now, Brent has Lauderdale sitting top of the ladder and looking every bit the premiership favourites. He’s seamlessly combined a talented group into a red-hot, united side chasing the club’s first ever flag in the big league. It’s clear that Brent's coaching journey at Tassie’s top level is only just beginning, and what a start it’s been.
