Before the Wendigo became every horror movie's favorite antlered skeleton boy, it was a real fear in real communities, and people kept ending up in actual courtrooms over it. Because in Philip K Dick’s reality it is simply a dentist chair, and a Pink Light. A light that opened his mind to a download of information. But where did it come from, and who sent it? Had he lost his mind, or was it a revelation illuminating a world that had been hidden to him and remains hidden to most of us?
