  • TJ 352 - Marvel 30s Publishing order - Secrets from the GI Joe Comics Archives
    2025/12/22
Secrets from the GI Joe Comics Archives - #30s Publishing order and repeating Dreadnoks . Also available as YouTube https://youtu.be/GOOCu0SEUJo . Its the first of a new video series which looks at some of the mysteries of the Original G.I. Joe ARAH series from the 1980s. A curious thing happens with the order that the GI Joe story is told in the 30's of the original marvel run in 1985 1) the baroness testing out the Rattler after her part in the attempted assassination of Cobra Commander 2) the weird reuse of Dreadnoks destroying Skystrikers three times (coinciding with appearing on the covers to issue 30 , 32 and 35) 3) The multi art teams suggesting deadline trouble 4) the fairly long delay in addressing assassination plot point in issue 33. In this video I try and piece this together below, supported by clues from the original art, solicits information from "Marvel Age" and other clues. This is a video adaptation of the original text piece: https://www.patreon.com/posts/77868435
