  • How to Sell Anything to Anyone (IT STARTS WITH YOU)
    2026/09/07

Most pitches don't fail because of the idea. They fail before you even open your mouth — because nobody in the room knows who you are yet.

This is Step 1 of a 10-part series breaking down the Rhetorical Stack — my system for engineering high-stakes moments instead of just performing them. Today: how to establish Speaker, the first piece of SAM, using a framework I call CASE — Credibility, Alignment, Stories, Edge.

If you've got a pitch coming up and want the free guide to walk through it yourself, grab it here: https://talk-to-chris-miller-2.kit.com/8fa64ac712

In this episode, I walk through what actually happened, what I got wrong, and five lessons I'd give anyone thinking about building a masterclass or turning their expertise into something people pay for.

Whether you're weighing your first live event or just trying to figure out how to package what you know, this one's for you.

The world is changing - it's become a place where you can be anything you want to be. But there's something that determines where you get - and it's not your degree. It's how you COMMUNICATE.

  • How to Prepare for Investor Pitches (EXPERT FRAMEWORK)
    2026/08/18

I have seen too many business owners lose out on pitches. I've been there before, prepared the wrong way and ultimately got the wrong result. In this video, I'm going to lay out the first 2 parts of my 3-part pitch prep guide.

🎯 Grab the free Pitch Prep Guide: https://talk-to-chris-miller-2.kit.com/8fa64ac712

I've used this two-layer system I use with executives, founders, and business leaders to engineer high-stakes pitches — from investor rounds to board presentations to enterprise deals. It's the same framework I've used to coach over $20M in real pitches.

If you have a pitch on the calendar in the next 30-60 days, this is the strategic prep work most people never do.

  • How Soccer Connects the World: A Conversation with Tim Bascom
    2026/08/03

If you're a soccer fan comment below. I had so much fun connecting with Tim Bascom! Legend - and I'm grateful to get back to conversations. Also, everybody who wants to meet friends and build community - FIND A WAY TO DO IT WITHOUT FOCUSING ON IT. Soccer is a great example. People show up for soccer - and they have to interact with people. After awhile, it turns into more interactions, which build relationships, and like Tim said, you get to know the people!

Remember life is better when you talk to people. And soccer is a great way to talk to people.

  • Stop Copying Great Speakers. Do This Instead. (HOW TO BE YOURSELF)
    2026/01/21

Ever watch a great speaker and think, "I wish I could sound like that"? Here's the problem: copying great speakers makes you worse, not better.

In this episode, I break down Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech—not to teach you his style, but to reveal his process. The speech wasn't planned. It was a "rhetorical scrapbook" of material he'd been testing for years. When Mahalia Jackson yelled "Tell them about the dream, Martin," he had the mental library to improvise 4 minutes that changed history.

    You'll learn:

    • Why MLK's authority came from his context (and how to find yours)
    • The "Stitch & Deliver" method for building your own speaking library
    • How to prepare so you can improvise in high-stakes moments
    • What to study from great speakers (and what to ignore)

Great communication isn't about being MLK. It's about being you with better tools.

    Start your rhetorical scrapbook today.
