    "But accepting first that, you know, there is something wrong with me and then seeking help, it takes courage. If we don't judge someone for getting treatment for a physical, you know, ailment, then why do we shame people for taking care of their mental health? And in present scenario, physical health is also important, but mental health is more important."

    "Let's talk about it. 2. Safe space for expression. Children should feel safe sharing their thoughts without fear of punishment or judgment. Three is teach emotional intelligence. Help your child recognize and name their emotions. Are you feeling frustrated? It's okay. Let's find a way to deal with it. Break the because I said so mentality. Instead of forcing obedience, explain your reasons. Kids learn better when they understand. And the last one is lead by example. Children mirror what they see."

    "You feel that anger, you feel that rage. And it definitely, you know, comes in your voice when you want somebody to stop their illegitimate business. And that was the time she made me sit in the car right next to that particular cousin of mine who also, you know, because you inherit the things from your mother, the traits from your mother.     "Now I will not give them a space in my life if they are creating any kind of trouble for me mentally. And I have started being patient with myself. I know healing is not a destination, it's a journey. And every small step matters as I am learning. I want you to learn to love yourself as well. Just start with positive affirmations and it helps big time. You can say I am safe, I am loved, I am enough. My past does not define me."
