About 300,000 children with a few as young as 10 were married in the US between 2000 and 2018. ... Child marriage is a dirty secret crisis in America that is not talked about. Despite its proven detriment to young girls for generations, surprisingly, there is little action taken to put a stop to it! Today I talk with two survivors of child marriage and how they struggled to heal from the trauma of a stolen childhood and came out on the other side of a life-long journey of building a life after marriage.
