Episode 4: Tales As Old As Time with Christian Dashiell
On May 25, 1977, the first star wars film premiered in theaters and started a fandom that has continued across generations, regions, cultures and languages, much like its interplanetary storylines. However, the diversity of this beloved franchise isn't always celebrated within its own fandom. Can stories of fighting for justice in galaxies far away make a positive impact here on Earth?
This week, I spoke with Christian Dashiell, a long-time Star Wars fan as well as a writer, podcaster, and agent for change. In addition talking about his journey with this film series, we did discuss Star Wars: the Rise of Skywalker, so spoiler alert if you haven't watched it yet.
