However, the diversity of this beloved franchise isn't always celebrated within its own fandom. Can stories of fighting for justice in galaxies far away make a positive impact here on Earth?
This week, I spoke with Christian Dashiell, a long-time Star Wars fan as well as a writer, podcaster, and agent for change. In addition talking about his journey with this film series, we did discuss Star Wars: the Rise of Skywalker, so spoiler alert if you haven't watched it yet.
