このコンテンツについて
I had the absolute honor of joining my dear friend, Shamar Brown, the host of The Eagle Podcast Night Talks, for an extraordinary conversation: “Taking the Principles, Not the Trauma.”
We dove deep into how we can sift through the pain of our past, especially the trauma connected to our mothers and fathers and instead look for the principles they taught us. With God’s guidance, we’ve learned to see that while our parents made mistakes (just like we do), they also gave us love and valuable lessons.
We’re no longer living in blame. We choose love, healing, and gratitude, recognizing that they did the best they knew how. There’s always some good we can hold onto, even in hard stories. And the rest? We release it and allow God to renew us.
You can’t fix anyone else, and no one else can fix you but you can choose freedom and growth.
🎙️ Tune in to this episode for encouragement on letting go of old wounds, finding the gems in your upbringing, and stepping into healing.
