Hello hello, and welcome to Episode 123 of Life On the Brink!
I’m calling this episode a Part 2 as it sort of relates to one of the most popular episodes of the podcast: Episode 80 called “Taking Care of Yourself When You Feel Overwhelmed, Anxious or Burnt Out.” This is in a similar vein, but personally comes from a different headspace. Whereas Part 1 took place during a huge time of transition when I was moving into a new home, these days I’m in the midst of my first year of motherhood and am working through new stresses and, at times, sadness.
Sometimes you need to sit with your sadness, but for the times when you want to cheer up, in this episode I'm simply sharing the things that have been comforting to me.
Plus, I'm sharing a new favorite show that forces me to slow down, and a fun album from a beloved jazz band.
