このコンテンツについて
We tend to play the game of “Beat The Clock”. We find ourselves facing anxiety and frustration because we are in a fictitious “race” with others. Trying to get something done before someone else.
Comparing your accomplishments to others. It’s important to take “YOUR” time. Scripture says, “I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.” Ecclesiastes 9:11 NIV
Doing things on your terms, does not mean you have to rush through the process. You’ll find rushing through the process leads to mistakes and missed steps.
I’m taking “my” time as I pursue my Bachelors Degree. It’s taken me a while because I started and stopped. I’m on a mission to be done in 2 years. I’ve been asked a number of times how many credits do you have left? This question would bring me so much anxiety and aggravation. I’m getting it done on my terms.
It’s okay to take your time. Enjoy the journey, not the destination.
