  • 93. I Changed the Name Again — But I Never Quit
    2026/08/31

    Welcome to a new chapter.

The podcast is officially Take Back Your Power — and in this episode, I’m sharing why this name finally feels like the right fit.

My journey has never been about just one thing. It’s about becoming the best version of yourself mind, body and spirit — and taking back your power in every area of your life.

I’m also sharing a little life update: starting a new job, getting down to lower doses of prednisone, rebuilding my routines and strength, and figuring out what this next chapter looks like.

And yes… I’ve changed my business name, direction and focus more than once.

    But I never quit.

I kept creating when nobody was watching.

I kept posting when engagement was low.

    I kept recording.

    I kept trying new things.

    I kept evolving.

Because consistency doesn’t mean refusing to change. It means continuing to show up while you change.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Why I renamed the podcast Take Back Your Power
    • Becoming your best self — mind, body and spirit
    • My new job and current life update
    • Coming down on prednisone and rebuilding my strength
    • Why your business should be allowed to evolve with your life
    • Changing direction without seeing it as failure
    • Staying consistent when nobody is watching
    • Creating even when engagement is low
    • Knowing when something no longer fits who you're becoming
    • Giving yourself permission to pivot

You don't have to stay loyal to an old version of yourself just because she once chose that path.

You are allowed to change the plan without abandoning the dream.

Welcome to Take Back Your Power.

  • 92. 10 Ways to Feel Whole on Your Own
    2026/08/24

There is a huge difference between being alone and being lonely.

Sometimes we hold onto relationships, situationships, friendships, or people who aren't right for us simply because we're afraid of what life will look like without them.

But being alone isn't the worst thing that can happen.

Being with someone who makes you feel alone is worse.

In this episode of Take Back Your Power, we're talking about what it actually looks like to build a life that feels full, exciting, peaceful, and completely yours—whether you're in a relationship or not.

Because being whole on your own doesn't mean you don't want love.

It means you stop abandoning yourself to get it.

    • Taking yourself on the damn date
    • Finding hobbies and interests that belong to YOU
    • Creating routines you genuinely love
    • Taking care of your body from a place of love instead of punishment
    • Learning to travel, explore, and experience things alone
    • Making your home feel like your safe place
    • Building friendships, community, and different sources of love
    • Creating goals that have nothing to do with a relationship
    • Learning to sit with yourself instead of constantly distracting yourself
    • Stopping the habit of waiting for someone else before you start living

And most importantly, we're talking about the difference between independence and emotional walls.

The goal isn't to become someone who says, “I don't need anybody.”

The goal is to become someone who can say:

“I want love. But I don't need to abandon myself to have it.”

Because when you've built a life you genuinely love, your standards change.

Someone doesn't just have to want you.

They have to add something to your life that's better than the peace you've already created.

If this episode made you realize you've been over-giving, chasing, people-pleasing, accepting breadcrumbs, or losing yourself trying to keep other people, my book F*ck the Pain. Take Back Your Power. was written for you.

It's about recognizing the patterns keeping you stuck, rebuilding your self-worth, creating boundaries, releasing what no longer belongs in your life, and learning how to choose yourself without apology.

The goal isn't to convince someone else to choose you.

The goal is to become so rooted in yourself that you stop abandoning yourself when they don't.

  • 91. 10 Red Flags This Person Is Not for You
    2026/08/17

What’s something I wish I had learned years ago?

Stop listening to who people tell you they are and start paying attention to the character they consistently show you.

In Episode 91 of Take Back Your Own Health, we’re talking about the red flags we often overlook because we’re focused on someone’s potential, making excuses for their behavior, or trying to understand why they treat us the way they do.

And this isn’t just about romantic relationships.

It’s friendships. Family. Coworkers. Dating. Partnerships. Anyone you allow access to your life, energy and peace.

Sometimes taking back your power means realizing you don’t need one more conversation, one more explanation or one more piece of evidence.

    The pattern is the answer.

    • When someone’s words and actions don’t match
    • Why constant confusion is information
    • People who only show up when it’s convenient for them
    • The difference between understanding someone’s behavior and excusing it
    • What lack of accountability tells you about someone’s character
    • Shrinking yourself to maintain a relationship
    • Watching how someone treats other people
    • What happens when you start setting boundaries
    • Recognizing one-sided relationships
    • Asking yourself who you become around certain people
    • Why someone doesn’t have to be a bad person to be bad for you
    • Learning to trust patterns instead of potential
    • Choosing yourself without needing someone else to agree with your decision

You don’t have to prove that someone is toxic, narcissistic, avoidant or a terrible person before deciding they’re not for you.

Sometimes the only question you need to answer is:

“Is having this person in my life good for me?”

Taking your power back doesn’t mean becoming cold or never getting hurt again.

It means you stop abandoning yourself to maintain relationships that continually cost you your peace.

This is exactly the kind of work I explore in my book:

Fuck the Pain. Take Back Your Power.

    https://linktr.ee/Takebackyourownhealth

If you’ve spent years over-giving, chasing, overthinking, making excuses for other people or questioning your own worth, this book is about recognizing those patterns and learning how to choose yourself again.

Look at the relationships in your life and ask yourself:

Do their actions match their words?

Can I be fully myself around them?

    Is there reciprocity?

How do I feel after interacting with them?

    And finally:

Does this relationship support the person I’m becoming—or keep me connected to the person I’m trying to outgrow?

Sometimes you don’t need more evidence.

    You’ve seen enough.

Fuck the pain. Learn the lesson. Choose yourself. Take back your power.

  • 90. Taking Your Power Back When Life Doesn’t Go According to Plan
    2026/08/10

What happens when life looks nothing like you thought it would?

In Episode 90 of Take Back Your Own Health, I’m getting personal about the season I’m in right now — navigating my health journey, starting fresh with a new job, walking away from toxic environments, and learning that taking your power back doesn’t mean having everything figured out.

Sometimes it simply means deciding what happens next.

I’m breaking it all down through the five steps of my Power Back Method:

Awareness — Getting honest about what isn’t working
Ownership — Recognizing what is actually within your control
Decision — Choosing what you want moving forward
Redirection — Taking your energy away from what drains you and putting it toward what you’re building
Embody — Starting to live as the version of yourself you’re becoming — before everything is perfect

I also talk about starting my health journey again, navigating the changes that came with Minimal Change Disease and treatment, stepping into a new chapter professionally, and realizing that some people, places and patterns simply aren't meant to follow us into our next season.

Maybe taking your power back isn't about becoming who you used to be.

Maybe it's about becoming who you're meant to be next.

    🎙️ In this episode:
    • Why starting over isn't actually starting from zero
    • Choosing yourself when something no longer feels aligned
    • Redirecting your energy toward your health, goals and future
    • Creating boundaries when entering a new chapter
    • Letting go of toxic environments without carrying them with you
    • Using the Power Back Method in real life
    • Learning to embody your next version NOW

    Ask yourself:

What am I continuing to give my power to — and what would change if I took that power back?

Pick ONE thing and start there.

If this episode hit home, don't just listen and move on.

    Start putting it into practice.

Follow along as I continue sharing the Power Back Method and the tools I'm using to rebuild my health, protect my peace and create the next chapter of my life.

And if you know someone who needs this reminder right now, send them this episode.

Follow the podcast, leave a review, and come hang out with me on social media for more conversations about healing, health, boundaries, growth and taking your damn power back.

You don't need your old life back.

  • 86: Work, Heal, and Let the mountains do their thing
    2026/06/28

Sometimes healing doesn’t happen during the biggest moments—it happens in the quiet ones.

In this episode, I’m recording from the mountains after a solo overnight camping trip. I share what it felt like to slow down, step away from the noise, and realize that peace isn’t something you find by fixing everyone around you. It’s something you create by changing your environment, protecting your energy, and giving yourself permission to rest.

    We’ll talk about:

    * Why changing your environment can change your mindset.

    * The connection between work, purpose, and healing.

    * Why taking your power back isn’t always about confrontation.

    * Letting go of negativity without giving it more attention.

    * Creating space for your nervous system to finally breathe.

    * Learning that peace can be quiet—not dramatic.

Healing isn’t always about becoming someone new.

Sometimes it’s simply remembering who you are underneath all the stress.

    Key Takeaways

✨ Protect your peace before protecting your image.

✨ You don’t have to carry yesterday into tomorrow.

✨ Nature has a way of reminding us what really matters.

✨ Rest is productive when your body and mind need it.

✨ You don’t have to tell everyone else’s story to tell your own.

✨ Your next chapter begins the moment you choose yourself.

    Journal Prompt

What in my life am I ready to release so I can create more peace?

    Challenge for This Week

Find one place that makes you feel grounded—a trail, a park, a lake, your backyard, or even a quiet room in your home.

Spend 30 minutes there without trying to fix your life.

    Just be.

You might be surprised what your mind has been trying to tell you.

If this episode helped you, I’d love if you’d leave a review, share it with someone who needs it, and remember…

Take back your power, one choice at a time. 💚
