    Sometimes healing doesn’t happen during the biggest moments—it happens in the quiet ones.


    In this episode, I’m recording from the mountains after a solo overnight camping trip. I share what it felt like to slow down, step away from the noise, and realize that peace isn’t something you find by fixing everyone around you.   • 82. What Minimal Change Disease has taught me in 12 days

    ⚠️ Trigger Warning: This episode contains discussion around chronic illness, body changes, weight gain, and emotional health challenges.

    In this deeply personal episode, I share an update on my journey with minimal change disease and nephrotic syndrome after 12 days of treatment.

    Just a few weeks ago, I had gained over 40 pounds of fluid, was struggling with severe swelling, fatigue, shortness of breath, and uncertainty about what was happening to my body. Today, while I'm still healing, I'm beginning to see signs of progress and learning lessons I never expected this diagnosis would teach me.

    In this episode, I discuss:

    • My symptoms leading up to diagnosis
    • The tests and kidney biopsy that finally provided answers
    • What the first 12 days of treatment have been like
    • Losing fluid weight and seeing signs of progress
    • The emotional impact of gaining over 40 pounds from edema
