  • Bella: How Trans Women Are Treated In Australia?
    2026/08/17

Watch the exclusive part here: https://www.patreon.com/transcrush/

Bella is back on Trans Crush! We first met Bella in Season 1, and a lot has changed since then. She has moved from London to Perth, Australia, and in this episode she talks honestly about how different her life feels now. She describes what it is like to wake up and not think about being trans every single day, the sense of normality she has found in Perth, and why Australia feels so different from the UK when it comes to how people react to trans people.

We also talk about some of the harder parts of transition. Gender dysphoria, the pressure to pass, being a 6'1" trans woman, body image, and the ridiculous beauty standards we put on ourselves. Bella also shares her experience with trans healthcare in Australia compared with the UK, including the huge difference in waiting times and how much knowledge doctors have about gender affirming care.

And we get into something I think a lot of people will relate to: how social media can completely distort the way we see ourselves. Bella talks about why she stepped back from trans activism and started focusing more on simply living her life. There are some really honest moments in this conversation, especially when we talk about dysphoria, confidence and learning to look at yourself with a little more kindness.

And if you're a parent of a trans teenager, stay until the end. Bella has some really thoughtful advice about social media, comparison and helping young people who are struggling with their bodies.

  • Ant: I Tried Testosterone... And It Wasn't Right For Me
    2026/08/02

JOIN OUR EXCLUSIVE COMMUNITY ON PATREON: https://patreon.com/transcrush/

In this new episode of Trans Crush, Zelah sits down with Ant, a trans masc creative who challenges everything we think we know about gender, transition, and identity. From breaking free of binary expectations to questioning the idea that there is only one "right" way to be trans, Ant shares a deeply honest conversation about finding peace in the grey areas.

    We explore important topics including:

    • Ant's emotional realization they were trans, crying alone in a workplace bathroom after finally accepting their identity.

    • Growing up as a tomboy, being bullied for not fitting gender expectations, and how childhood experiences shaped their journey.

    • Why they stopped testosterone after six months, and how they realized medical transition wasn't the right path for them.

    • The pressure many trans people face to medically transition, and why there is no checklist for being "trans enough."

    • Dating as a trans masc person in a non-monogamous relationship, and how society perceives queer couples.

    • Why gender stereotypes don't only hurt trans people, but affect everyone, from children in the playground to the mental health crisis facing men today.

    • A refreshing perspective on transition as a journey rather than a destination, and why embracing uncertainty can be one of the most liberating parts of discovering yourself.

Join Zelah and Ant for an honest, funny, and thought-provoking conversation that celebrates authenticity over expectations. Don't forget to subscribe and turn on notifications so you never miss a new episode of Trans Crush.
