Tough times don’t last—but the right mindset does. In this episode of The Greg McAfee Show, Greg breaks down the mental toughness needed to weather life’s and business’s hardest storms. You’ll learn why high performers expect resistance, stay mission-driven, and move forward regardless of how they feel. Greg also offers insight into the mental battles faced by startup founders and how the strongest leaders view problems as puzzles—not setbacks. If you're ready to develop the kind of mindset that doesn't fold under pressure and refuses to quit, this episode will help you stand strong through any storm. 🌪️💪🔥 00:00:00 Intro 00:02:57 The Mindset That Outlasts The Storm 00:03:27 They Expect Resistance 00:08:26 Mission Driven 00:11:29 Insight Into Mental Challenges Faced By Startup Founders 00:15:22 They Move Forward No Matter How They Feel 00:16:18 They See Problems As Puzzles 00:16:51 They decided that quitting is not an option 00:18:03 They Know Storms Don't Last, But Strong People Do 00:19:58 Outro An award-winning entrepreneur, Greg McAfee has a passion for helping business owners take their businesses to new heights. In 1990, Greg started McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning Co., his only capital was a meager $274 and a well-used truck. Today, Greg runs one of the most successful HVAC companies in the Midwest and is called upon to share his expertise with other business owners all over the nation. In his new book, “Build and Grow Your HVAC Business”, Greg shares nine elements that will guide you in growing your business. He loves to inspire others to chase their dreams at full force, just as he has in his own life and business. Greg is still the working President of his company and puts the same systems and ideas in to place at his own laboratory, McAfee Heating and Air Conditioning Company, in Dayton, Ohio. Greg resides in Beavercreek, Ohio. Several years ago, Greg sent articles to national trade magazines and many were published, which led to coaching, which led to business boot camps/revivals, and now The Greg McAfee Show. All these services help HVAC business owners think different and help grow their companies. One of the most fun things I’ve done is disrupt the HVAC industry in our market. Are you a disruptor or a disruptee in your market? You have to change some of the ways you do business, you can’t do the same old things and expect different results. I talk about how you can still generate business in the slow seasons. One of the biggest ways I set my HVAC corporate office feel, started 8 to 8 at the same great rate, and same day installation or it was FREE! (We never had to give anything away)
