Starting with the Atlantic beaches from Palm Beach down through Miami Dade, we're looking at a HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK that remains in effect through Friday evening. This is your heads up to exercise extra caution in the water. For today across Palm Beach, expect surf heights of 4 to 6 feet with mostly sunny skies and just a slight chance of showers. It's going to be a beautiful day with very high UV, so bring that sunscreen. Water temperatures are in the upper 70s, winds are light from the east around 10 miles per hour, and there's no thunderstorm potential. Moving down to Fort Lauderdale and Miami Dade beaches, we're seeing slightly smaller surf of 3 to 5 feet today. Same mostly sunny conditions with a slight chance of showers, very high UV index, and no thunderstorm activity expected. Winds here are a bit stronger, gusting to around 15 miles per hour from the east. Water temperatures sit in the mid 70s. High tide at Miami Harbor Entrance comes at 8:20 in the morning with low tide at 2:08 in the afternoon. Now if you're heading down to the Naples and Marco Island area on the Gulf side, conditions are much calmer. We've got low rip current risk and minimal surf, just 1 foot or less. It's mostly sunny with a chance of showers, very high UV, and light east winds around 10 miles per hour. Highs push into the lower 80s down there. Low tide at the north end of Naples Bay is at 6:47 in the morning with high tide at 12:53 in the afternoon. Looking ahead to Wednesday, the Atlantic beaches remain under that high rip current risk. Palm Beach will see surf dropping to around 3 feet with partly sunny skies and a slight chance of showers. Winds stay light from the east around 10 miles per hour. High tide is at 8:21 in the morning with low tide at 2:29 in the afternoon.
