Starting with Long Beach, Washington, we're looking at solid conditions today with surf heights ranging from six to nine feet. You'll have a northwest swell at five feet with a nine-second period, combined with a west swell of three feet at fifteen seconds. The weather is mostly sunny with highs near fifty-five to sixty degrees and light northerly winds at eight miles per hour. High tide peaks at seven and a half feet early this morning around five forty-eight, with a low of just one point three feet at one oh five in the afternoon. A second high tide of five point nine feet arrives at eight oh nine tonight. Moving down the coast to Seaside and Cannon Beach, Oregon, expect slightly smaller surf at five to eight feet today. The northwest swell here runs five feet at nine seconds with a secondary two-foot swell at fifteen seconds. Another mostly sunny day with highs around sixty degrees and very light northerly winds at just four miles per hour. Tides show a morning high of seven point seven feet at five fifty-three, dropping to one point two feet by one thirty-one in the afternoon. Heading south to Manzanita, Rockaway Beach, and Pacific City, conditions remain consistent with five to eight foot surf. A northwest swell of four feet at nine seconds pairs with a three-foot swell at fifteen seconds. Mostly sunny skies, sixty-degree highs, and northwest winds at four miles per hour. The tidal range here shows a seven-point-one-foot high at five twenty-nine in the morning and a low of one point two feet around twelve forty-nine in the afternoon. Down in Lincoln City, we're seeing similar patterns with five to eight foot waves and that same northwest swell configuration. Light winds from the northwest at three miles per hour, mostly sunny conditions, and highs near sixty degrees. The morning high tide reaches seven feet at four fifty-nine, with the low coming in at one point one foot around twelve twenty-seven. Looking ahead to Friday, conditions will soften slightly across all zones. Long Beach expects five to eight foot surf with a northwest swell dropping to four feet at eight seconds and another four-foot swell at twelve seconds. Mostly cloudy skies develop with a chance of showers, highs around fifty-five degrees, and southwest winds at just five miles per hour. The Oregon beaches will see five to seven foot surf on Friday as that northwest swell continues to ease. Mostly cloudy conditions with scattered showers possible, highs in the mid-fifties, and very light southwest winds at three miles per hour. Remember, cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents pose a daily threat along the coast. Stay vigilant whenever you're near the water, keep an eye on those waves, and respect the power of the ocean. This forecast was issued once per day after six in the morning with no updates expected. • Oregon Washington Coast Surf Forecast Sunday Five to Eight Foot Waves Perfect Paddling Conditions
    2026/04/06
Good morning surfers, this is your Sunday surf forecast for the Oregon and Washington coast brought to you by the National Weather Service. Let's start up north in Long Beach, Washington, where the waves are looking pretty decent today. You're looking at five to seven feet with a northwest swell running five feet at eleven second intervals. The weather is mostly cloudy with highs reaching sixty to sixty five degrees, and the wind is light out of the northeast at six miles per hour. That low tide at nine fifty two in the morning is going to give you some exposed sand bars, so get out there early if you want the best conditions. Heading south into Oregon's north coast, Seaside and Cannon Beach are firing up some solid waves today. Expect five to eight feet with that same northwest swell at a slightly longer twelve second period. It's mostly cloudy with the same temperature range, but the wind here is almost nonexistent, just two miles per hour from the west. Perfect paddling conditions. Your low tide hits just after ten in the morning, so plan accordingly. Moving down the coast to Manzanita, Rockaway Beach and Pacific City, conditions are very similar. Five to eight feet of surf with that northwest swell holding strong at twelve seconds. Highs around sixty five degrees with very light northwest winds at two miles per hour. This is going to be a scenic, calm morning session. Lincoln City is rounding out our forecast with the same five to eight foot swell and that longer twelve second period. Mostly cloudy skies, temps in the sixty to sixty five range, and light winds from the northwest. The low tide here happens around nine eleven in the morning, so you've got a solid window to work with. Now looking ahead to Monday, conditions are going to ease up a bit across the board. Expect four to six foot waves everywhere as that swell drops slightly to four feet at ten to eleven second intervals. It'll be partly cloudy with temperatures settling into the mid fifties. Winds will pick up just slightly, ranging from three to nine miles per hour depending on your location, but nothing that should deter you from getting out there. A few important reminders before you head to the beach. Cold water, sneaker waves and rip currents are real threats out here year round. Stay vigilant, keep your eyes on the ocean, and respect the power of these waters. A sneaker wave can travel significantly further up the beach than you'd expect, and rip currents are powerful channels of fast moving water that demand your respect and attention. Get out there and enjoy these beautiful spring conditions, but stay safe and stay aware. This has been your weekend surf forecast. • Pacific Northwest Surf Forecast March 27-28: Eight to Eleven Foot Waves at Lincoln City and Manzanita
    2026/03/28
Good morning, this is your Pacific Northwest surf forecast for Friday, March 27th through Saturday, March 28th. Let's start down south at Lincoln City, where things are firing today. You're looking at solid eight to eleven foot surf with a northwest swell at eight feet and eleven second intervals. It's going to be partly cloudy with highs around fifty-five degrees, and winds coming from the north at eight miles per hour, ramping up to thirteen by afternoon. The best window to paddle out looks like this morning before that northerly breeze picks up. By Saturday, the swell mellows out to five to eight feet as conditions become a bit more subdued, though you'll still have some fun waves to work with. Moving up the coast to Manzanita and Rockaway Beach, conditions are similarly strong today with eight to eleven foot surf and that same powerful northwest groundswell. It's partly cloudy with highs near fifty-five, and northeast winds starting light at six miles per hour before climbing to twelve. Tomorrow, expect that swell to dial back to six to nine feet, but you're looking at partly cloudy skies and lighter northwest winds around nine miles per hour, which should make for more manageable conditions. Over at Seaside and Cannon Beach, you've got six to nine foot surf today with a seven foot northwest swell. Partly cloudy skies, temperatures in the fifty to fifty-five degree range, and northeast winds starting gentle before picking up to twelve miles per hour. Saturday brings similar six to nine foot conditions, partly cloudy skies, and lighter winds, making it another solid day to be in the water. Finally, up at Long Beach, Washington, you're looking at seven to ten foot surf today with that northwest swell at seven feet. Mostly cloudy conditions with highs around fifty, and northeast winds becoming moderate at fourteen miles per hour. Saturday shows six to nine foot waves with lighter winds out of the northwest at ten miles per hour. One important reminder before you head out: cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents are daily threats along this entire coast. Stay vigilant, keep your eyes on the ocean, and always respect the power of the sea.
