Today we draw your attention to The Confessions by Augustine of Hippo. From church fathers and pastors/teachers throughout the last 1600 years, to an enlightenment philosophe like Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the Confessions of Augustine of been read, and quoted, and emulated, and co-opted. Well we finally did it. We finally are getting to the quintessential Christian book for the past 400 years, John Bunyan’s Pilgrims Progress. In a twist of irony we recorded this several months ago and somehow it was missed in the release schedule.

There is a reason that this book has stood the test of time, and why its imagery is so ingrained in western culture, not just the church. If you have never read it take some time and read it, you will be blessed by it. If you have read it? Well now is a great time to read it again.
