There are authors and books that have had almost incalculable influence on our world today and I would venture to guess that the book that we have for you today is one of those books. Today we draw your attention to The Confessions by Augustine of Hippo. From church fathers and pastors/teachers throughout the last 1600 years, to an enlightenment philosophe like Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the Confessions of Augustine of been read, and quoted, and emulated, and co-opted. Happy Semiquincentennial everybody! 250 years of an experiment in ordered liberty here in the U.S-of-A. Thanks for tuning in to yet another episode by three pastors in Piqua Ohio as we talk about all kinds of topics here on the Supplementalist.
