  • The Fast Track to a Growth Mindset
    2025/06/10

Is growth mindset just an intellectual exercise? Does the idea for a change get stuck in your mind while you continue to be set in your ways?

When Ben's wife Kristen said she'd like to try a 72 hour fast, Ben agreed to do it with her as a show of support. But when Kristen said, "Are you in? The fast starts Sunday night," Ben realized the fast was not just an idea he hoped she'd forget; it was time to take action.

In this episode Ben shares the ups and downs of the fast along with 3 steps to help launch your own challenge or personal change:

    1. Take action – take the first step, the physical action required to begin the change or challenge you want to adopt.
    2. Tell others – for accountability, encouragement, and support
    3. Remember that sometimes building strength in one area can make you feel more vulnerable or weak in another, but you will become stronger overall.

Take the first step to get growth mindset out of the mind– the stationary “set” – and into physical action.
