I’m Malini Amaladoss, an immigrant from India who has lived in the U.S. for over 30 years. I carry the heart of India and the hope of America—two beautiful countries that have shaped who I am. In early 2025, my husband, Babu, faced a medical crisis — and we quickly discovered that the real battle wasn’t just for his recovery, but for his dignity and care inside a broken healthcare system.
