This was NOT the episode I planned to launch this morning.

But in true fashion with the theme of the podcast….. it’s real. It’s wild. It’s omg.

And it’s what happened. As I was sitting here in my room, with my heating pad, sipping my bone broth. . . hospital socks still on in my pajamas with the diffuser going. 8 hours post-op.

I was about to hit "publish" on the pre-recorded post and I was like ABSOLUTELY NO. It did NOT feel right. It felt like the literal opposite of everything Storytime with Sara stands for.

We're not here for the polished. Or the perfect. We're here for the f*cking REAL, RAW BEHIND-THE-SCENES LIFE. So. 8 hours post-op. I grabbed my little pink podcast mini mic. and with absolutely no plan. No idea. and no notes. I hit record.

THAT IS WHAT THIS EPISODE IS.

A royal declaration that we're going to show up. Be real. Do things. Honor commitments.

And I'm so dang proud it launched on 5/22/25 which was my dream / hope / goal.
