I'm Krishna Avalon — subconscious therapist and breakthrough coach. I’ve spent 24 years cultivating a process that creates immediate change that lasts. My training includes PSYCH-K, Internal Family Systems (IFS), a master’s in psychology, and 24 years as an acupuncturist. Stories from the Lost and Found is where we go beneath the surface — into the subconscious programming, the wounded parts, and the real human experiences that shape who we are and how we live.

Each week I bring you solo episodes and honest guest conversations about healing, self-sabotage, relationships, and what it actually takes to find your way back to yourself. Expect depth, tools you can use, and stories that remind you you're not alone.

New episodes every Thursday. Come find the parts of yourself you thought were lost and the brilliance within you waiting to be found.

  • Marketing That Actually Converts with Jessica Krewson
    2026/10/15

In this episode of Stories From The Lost & Found, I sit down with Jessica Krewson to talk about how to grow your email list and build funnels that convert. Jessica is the founder of Design Krew and has spent 15 years building the funnels behind six-figure launches, including a single webinar that closed $100,000 in sales for a client. We talk about why most businesses don’t need more marketing, they need marketing that actually converts to an offer, and how a small list of raving fans can create a six-figure launch without running ads. Jessica also opens up about untangling her identity from her business and her changing relationship with failure.

    In this episode, we explore:
    - Why growing your email list matters more than ever as Meta limits, shadow bans and shuts down accounts.
    - How to create a free offer, like a short video, that soothes your ideal client’s 2 a.m. problem in 15 minutes or less.
    - How a $27 webinar, a small but loyal email list and zero paid ads led to a six-figure launch.
    - Three simple ways to get your emails out of spam and promotions and into the primary inbox.
    - The three-email strategy: a value email, a promotional email and a quick “hand raiser.”
    - How Jessica separated her identity from her business and stopped believing in failure.

Jessica’s story is such a powerful reminder that you don’t need a huge audience to have a giant impact, but you do need strategy and support. And when fear of being seen, fear of failing or that feeling of being alone in your business shows up, those are often parts of us trying to keep us safe. We don’t need to push them away. We can meet them with compassion, stay with them and keep going.

Tune in for an honest and practical conversation about email marketing, conversion funnels, visibility, video, webinar launches, entrepreneurship and what becomes possible when your business is no longer who you are.

  • The Perfectionist
    2026/10/08
Perfectionism Is a Protection SystemThis solo episode breaks down perfectionism as a subconscious safety strategy, not a character flaw. Krishna Avalon explains how conditional worth gets encoded early, how internal family systems maps the perfectionist manager and the younger exile underneath, and how that pattern can be updated at the nervous system level. We discuss where perfectionism comes from, why it keeps moving the goalpost, and how self-energy creates enough safety for the system to soften. The episode ends with a guided practice to help you notice and meet the part of you that rushes, criticizes, or never lets you land.Key topicsPerfectionism is framed as a protection system, not a standard of excellenceThe core subconscious programs behind it are named explicitly:My worth is conditional on my performanceGood enough is never actually enoughIf I relax my standards, everything will fall apartPerformance is broadened beyond work to include emotions, appearance, behavior, and how little trouble you causeThe developmental roots are traced to conditional praise, a perfectionistic household atmosphere, instability, or a formative humiliationIn Internal Family Systems terms, the perfectionist is a manager part trying to prevent exposure and lossThe manager’s strategies include constant monitoring, moving the bar, preemptive overexplaining, and deflecting complimentsThe exile underneath carries the wound of conditional worth and the longing to be loved for being, not producingSelf-energy is presented as calm, compassionate, playful presence that can help the manager step backThe episode explains why insight alone is not enough and introduces Psyche as a way to update subconscious programming in a whole brain stateThe closing practice invites listeners to slow down, notice sensations, and offer the protective part respect and permissionTimestamps00:00 - Why perfectionism is really about fear, not standards02:45 - What this episode will cover and how the practice fits in03:43 - The core subconscious programs driving perfectionism04:13 - Worth becoming conditional on performance05:39 - Why good enough never feels enough06:41 - Why relaxing standards feels dangerous from the inside07:47 - Where perfectionist programs come from in early development10:25 - The perfectionist as a manager part in IFS11:44 - Monitoring, revising, and mentally replaying everything12:23 - How perfectionism shapes how you receive compliments13:28 - The exile carrying the wound of conditional worth15:06 - What Self-energy is and why it matters16:25 - How the exile begins to feel enough without producing17:18 - Why insight loosens the pattern but does not fully update it18:24 - Using PSYCH-K to create a whole brain state for new beliefs19:50 - What changes in the body as the old program shifts20:27 - Perfectionism as a sophisticated protection system21:10 - Why the manager can finally rest, not be exiled22:08 - Beginning the guided practice23:28 - Slowing down to help the system feel safe24:00 - Noticing and befriending the part that wants to hurry25:10 - Every part in the system has a role in survival26:24 - The main IFS move: slow down and connect to Self-energy27:33 - Letting the part know you see it and it is not alone29:19 - Reflection on the framework and how it is used in session30:14 - Closing encouragement and mention of Self and Self-like parts nextKey frameworksInternal Family Systems: perfectionism is a manager protecting a younger exile carrying conditional-worth painSelf-energy: the calm, compassionate, present quality that can relate to parts without fearPSYCH-K whole-brain state: used here to update subconscious beliefs at the level where they were encodedNotable quotes“The perfectionism isn’t about the work. It never was.”“My worth is conditional on my performance.”“She needs the exile underneath the standard to finally feel safe enough that the standard becomes optional rather than mandatory.”Action itemsNotice where perfectionism shows up beyond work, especially in parenting, relationships, body image, and emotionsIdentify whether your internal bar keeps moving the moment you reach itPractice slowing down and naming sensations before trying to fix themAsk the hurried or distracted part for a little space so you can get to know itOffer the protective part simple self-energy cues: “I see you,” “You’re not alone,” and “I’m right here with you”Website: http://www.krishnaavalon.comInstagram: http://www.instagram.com/krishnaavalonFacebook: http://www.facebook.com/krishnaavalonLinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/krishnaavalonYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/@krishnaavalon

  • When the Dream You Built No Longer Fits with Danielle Lauren
    2026/10/01

In this episode of Stories From The Lost & Found, I reconnect with my longtime friend Danielle Lauren, an experiential teacher, mentor and founder of the Elevated Experience Method. For the past two decades, Danielle has created transformative experiences, programs, masterminds and luxury retreats around the world. We talk about the evolution of her work, the identity she built around success, and what happened when the business and mission she thought she was meant to build no longer felt like hers. Danielle opens up about burnout, changing her mind, redefining success and learning to choose pleasure, rest and what she actually wants, without abandoning her ambition, power or purpose.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Why real transformation often begins with identity and self-concept, not another strategy.
    • How Danielle built extraordinary success through relentless devotion and eventually recognized the cost of always pushing.
    • What happens when the dream, business or identity you worked so hard to create no longer feels aligned.
    • Why changing your mind doesn’t mean you’ve failed, it can be an invitation to evolve.
    • How burnout, rest and even something as simple as taking a nap can completely change the way we relate to productivity.
    • Why choosing pleasure isn’t selfish and how Danielle is rebuilding her life and work around what she genuinely desires.

Danielle’s story is such a powerful reminder that we’re allowed to evolve beyond the identities, commitments and versions of success that once defined us. Sometimes the next chapter isn’t about pushing harder or proving that we can hold more. It’s about trusting ourselves enough to choose differently, to rest, experience more pleasure, follow what lights us up and create success without leaving ourselves until last.

Tune in for an uplifting and deeply honest conversation about burnout, identity, self-trust, mentorship, pleasure, reinvention and what becomes possible when you give yourself permission to change your mind and build your next chapter around the life you actually want to live.
