  • I Trusted My Intellect More Than God's Voice (Reading Psalm 46)
    2026/07/01

Do you rely more on your intellect than God's voice?

In this episode of the Still Coloring podcast, Toni Collier opens up about a difficult truth she discovered while reading Psalm 46: she had been trusting her own understanding more than God's wisdom. If you've been overthinking every decision, carrying burdens you were never meant to carry, or feeling exhausted from trying to control every outcome, this conversation is for you.

Through honest storytelling, biblical insight, and practical encouragement, Toni unpacks what it really means to "be still and know that I am God"—and why discernment often requires us to slow down, surrender, and listen. Psalm 46 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Even when life feels chaotic, His presence offers peace that striving never can. You don't have to figure everything out on your own.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

    • Why self-reliance can keep us from hearing God's voice

    • The difference between intellect and discernment

    • How to trust God when you don't know what to do

    • What "be still" actually means in everyday life

    • Why surrender is often the first step toward peace

  • I Thought I Was Damaged Goods (Reading Through Psalm 121)
    2026/06/17
In this episode of the Still Coloring Podcast, Toni opens up about one of the most painful seasons of her life—walking through betrayal, divorce, financial uncertainty, public scrutiny, and the feeling that maybe she had become "damaged goods." Through Psalm 121, Toni shares how God reminded her that He never stopped seeing her, never stopped watching over her, and never stopped working, even when everything around her seemed to be falling apart. If you've ever wondered where God is in your grief, questioned whether your story is too broken, or felt like you've lost more than you can carry, this conversation is for you. Psalm 121 reminds us that our help comes from the Lord—the Maker of heaven and earth—and that He is still watching over our coming and going, both now and forevermore. • Why Psalm 27 Makes Me Cry Every Time
    2026/06/10

Can I tell you why Psalm 27 brings me to tears every time I read it? It’s one of the most meaningful passages of Scripture in my life, truly. It has carried me through grief, heartbreak, rebuilding, fear, and seasons when I felt like I had nothing left to hold onto but God.

If you've ever felt overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, abandoned, or unsure of what to pray, I really do hope this conversation is a powerful reminder that God's presence is enough.

Let me tell you about the things I once turned to for comfort, why Psalm 27 continues to wreck me in the best way. and what it means to dwell with God instead of constantly asking Him to fix everything around us.

  • The First Time I Heard God's Voice
    2026/06/03

Have you ever desperately wanted to hear God's voice... but weren't sure if it was really Him?

I want to tell you a powerful story about the first time I believe I heard the voice of God. Y’all know I’ve been going through it – navigating divorce, doing my best as a single mom, facing financial hardship, and healing from trauma. This season really and truly has brought me to complete desperation and ultimately closer to God than ever before.

Let’s look at Psalm 91 and I’ll tell you how this Scripture became more than words on a page to me. Psalm 91 feels like a personal message from God that changed the trajectory of my faith journey.

You might be wondering, “How do I know if God is speaking to me? Why can't I hear God's voice? Does God still speak today? What role does silence, prayer, and Scripture play in hearing from God?” I don’t have all the answers, of course, but I hope this conversation – and the other episodes still to come in this Psalms series – will help you to seek God in those questions.

  • When It Feels Like Everyone Else Has the Life You Wanted
    2026/05/27

What do you do when it feels like everyone else is getting to enjoy the life you prayed for?

Today we’re talking about disappointment, unanswered prayers, jealousy, seasons of waiting, and struggling to trust God’s timing. I call it the “pain comparison trap” and it’s HARD, y’all. Comparison can slowly steal your peace and distort your view of yourself and God!

If you’ve ever wondered why everyone else seems to be moving forward while you feel stuck, forgotten, or overlooked by God, this conversation is for you. Your pain is not invisible, and God has not forgotten you. And I want to acknowledge your sadness. I feel it too. Don't discount your pain.

If you’ve been wrestling with discouragement, unmet expectations, loneliness, singleness, grief, healing, or feeling emotionally exhausted from watching everyone else “win,” pull up a seat and let’s chat through a few stories of comparison in the Bible.

Cain and Abel – Genesis 4
Rachel and Leah – Genesis 29-30
    Saul and David – 1 Samuel 18
Joseph and his brothers – Genesis 37

  • The Pain of Rebuilding Your Life That No One Talks About
    2026/05/20

What happens when life falls apart… and you have to rebuild from scratch? I’ve been there. And I’m still going through a season of rebuilding years after my second divorce. So, let’s talk about the emotional pain of starting over again when life doesn’t go according to plan.

From grief and disappointment to healing and trusting God in the middle of uncertainty, this episode is for anyone who feels exhausted trying to rebuild their life after heartbreak, loss, divorce, failure, betrayal, or unexpected change.

If you’ve ever felt like everyone else is moving forward while you’re picking up the pieces, my prayer is this: that you’ll be reminded that healing is not linear, starting over is not shameful, and God still meets you in the middle of the rebuilding process.
