Holly Cole is one of the greatest female jazz vocalists, hailing from The Great White North (Canada), she has constantly delivered the music that wraps my soul up in the emotions of the moment.

Holly has done a whole album of Tom Waits covers (Temptation), or some dark vibes jazz getting through heartbreak and longing (Dark Dear Heart), and various collections between then and now. Now she has released a moon themed album "Dark Moon" where she clashes with classics, and every song on this album will make you think of feelings you had, inspired by the moon.

She was the only "Beach Girl" (they had her as a famale focalist) and she did so much great pop work in the 70s and 80s with her husbad "Captain" Daryl Dragon. Inspiring everyone from Olivia Newton John, to Sheena Easton, and too many other names to mention, she has solidified her name in pop music history. She recently came out of retirement to perform in the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center production of the classic musical "Hello Dolly!".
