Wonder told the packed audience that shortly after his birth he became blind, calling it a blessing that allowed him to see the world in the vision of truth and judge people by the color of their spirit rather than their appearance.
Wonder made his Met Gala debut this past May, arriving on Monday, May 5th, 2025, in a spectacular glittery cape train designed by Sergio Hudson, joined by wife Tomeeka Robyn Bracy and son Kailand Morris, all dressed in matching black attire for the Superfine Tailoring Black Style theme.
