In this episode of State of the Republic, we talk about Sacramento Republic FC’s 3–2 win over New Mexico United on the road! Playing at New Mexico’s baseball stadium, Republic gets a huge three points in a critical match as Sacramento gets closer to securing a spot in the USL Championship playoffs.

With the playoff race heating up, every point matters, and this road victory could be a massive result for Republic as the regular season enters its final stretch.

We also look ahead to Sacramento’s next two critical games: a midweek home matchup against Las Vegas Lights FC followed by a Saturday road game against FC Tulsa. With playoff qualification getting closer, Republic will be looking to pick up as many points as possible from both matches.

In this episode of State of the Republic, we talk about Sacramento Republic FC’s 0–0 draw against San Antonio FC — or, as we call them on the podcast, Uncle Ruckus. Republic had chances to win the game, but the San Antonio goalkeeper and the goalposts had other plans, forcing Sacramento to settle for a point.

With the draw, Republic shares the points with San Antonio and remains right in the middle of a dramatic Western Conference playoff race. Sacramento is getting close to the top three, but is also only four points clear of the playoff line, making every result that much more important as the regular season continues.
