    These chapters are the ones in which Zomi and Fara have a conversation about Phyro and whether he would have bene a good Emperor, and I'm surprised to hear how little faith they both seemed to have in him despite all his growth. I am willing to concede that what Jia has done has worked, but I can't help but wonder if it may have worked another way too.

    I am losing my mind over how well Phyro has anticipated the way that everyone was going to react to his attack, and how he's managed to find a way around all of their precautions. Despite all that, I have a hard time imagining the confrontation between him and Jia.

    Speaking of which, Jia's plan of taking down the Lyucu seems to have worked flawlessly but I'm feeling left kind of flat. What do you all think?

    In these chapters, I'm getting my hopes up that Phyro is not actually attacking Pan the way that everyone is expecting, but I'm not sure whether I'm just seeing what I want to see. Also there's a whole thing with Thera getting reunited with her children, and me feeling kind of let down that we don't actually get to see that moment. Idk, I'm side-eyeing you Mr. Liu.
