  • Where Inner Peace Meets Collective Purpose with special guest Devaki Douillard
    2026/09/01
Today, I'm especially excited to introduce you to Devaki Douillard, Executive Director of the Mwebaza Foundation, an organization whose work immediately caught my attention because it challenges us to rethink what it means to create meaningful change.
Mwebaza is a Luganda word meaning "to give thanks," and the organization's philosophy is beautifully simple: solidarity, not charity.

  • A Conversation with Erica J Lee - Restorative Justice Practitioner - Organizational Consultant
    2026/08/18
Welcome to The Spiritual Justice Show, where inner peace meets collective purpose. I'm your host, Eric S. Lee, and each episode we highlight people who are making a meaningful difference in the lives of others—individuals who remind us that when we discover our own purpose, we're naturally called to help others discover theirs. Today's guest is someone I've had the privilege of knowing her entire life...literally. I cried the first time I saw her! Her work as a visionary justice keeper and elder sister highlights the relationship between systems design, the movement of movements, and social impact entrepreneurship. Erica has served as a recovery coach, mindfulness teacher, holistic health educator, restorative justice practitioner, and community organizer. Her work centers institutional accountability and social justice capacity building through strategy development and restorative justice. She has partnered with technical colleges, social justice advocates, and public institutions to help them ‘read the tea leaves’ during seasons of change. Erica helps navigate groups through bottlenecks, allowing dynamics and organizational missions to better thrive. Her work has been informed by essential figures in her life such as her grandmother, family, beloved mentors, and friends. Elements of Erica's lifelong learning journey, such as healing autoimmunity, overcoming mental health challenges and working with her family in restaurants and restorative justice define how she understands the progress possible in one generation.

  • The Questions I Ask Others... It's Time I Answer Them Myself - A Solo with Host Eric S Lee
    2026/08/04
Over the past nineteen episodes, I've had the privilege of interviewing remarkable people who are changing lives in their own unique ways. Today, there isn't a guest sitting across from me. Instead, I thought it was time to turn the microphone around and answer some of the questions I often ask others. Because if we're going to build a movement around belonging, compassion, purpose, and spiritual justice, I think it's only fair that you know a little more about what has shaped me.

  • Encore: Before We Invite the World In: A Pause, A Promise, A Path Forward
    2026/07/07
This episode is a conscious pause — a moment to reflect on where we’ve been, name what we stand for, and set clear intentions for where we’re going next. Before inviting new voices, organizations, and community leaders into this space, we take time to ground the show in its deepest values. This pause is intentional, honoring the foundation we’ve built and ensuring that what comes next is rooted in integrity, alignment, and purpose.
As we move forward, it feels essential to intentionally connect with local partners who are living these principles in real and tangible ways. This next phase of the show is about creating space for organizations, educators, mentors, and community leaders to articulate how their work aligns with the ideals of Spiritual Justice — inner peace expressed outwardly through service, accountability, and collective care. We want to hear how these values show up in classrooms, youth programs, justice systems, and community spaces — not as concepts, but as daily practices.
This evolution also creates a bridge for our listeners. Many of you have shared a growing desire to move from reflection into action — to take the inner work you’ve been doing and express it meaningfully in the world. By spotlighting real organizations and community efforts, this show becomes a connective thread, offering tangible pathways for engagement. These conversations are not just stories to be inspired by, but invitations to participate, volunteer, mentor, support, and serve in ways that feel aligned with your own purpose.
Ultimately, this episode marks a transition — from internal exploration to collective embodiment. It is an invitation into integrity, responsibility, and shared purpose, where Spiritual Justice is no longer just something we talk about, but something we actively live, together.

  • Encore: Expanding a Vision for Personal Transformation & Collective Impact
    2026/06/03
From The Spiritual Justice Show to The Spiritual Justice Show & Foundation: Expanding a Vision for Personal Transformation and Collective ImpactWelcome to The Spiritual Justice Show, where inner peace meets collective purpose.Since its inception, The Spiritual Justice Show has explored the powerful intersection between personal transformation and social transformation. Through conversations with thought leaders, educators, healers, activists, spiritual teachers, and community builders, the show has sought to answer an important question: How do we create a more just, peaceful, connected, and compassionate world? Over time, one answer became increasingly clear: meaningful change requires more than conversation alone. It requires action, partnership, community engagement, and a commitment to turning inspiration into impact. Today we explore the next chapter in that journey—the evolution from The Spiritual Justice Show to The Spiritual Justice Show & Foundation. This episode is both a reflection and an invitation. A reflection on the conversations, lessons, and inspirations that have shaped this movement so far, and an invitation to imagine what becomes possible when inner transformation meets collective action.
