This week we got into such a beautiful conversation that started out with the stumbling blocks we have experienced in our journeys. This quickly turned into something everyone in the room has in common, and I am sure a lot of you can relate to … the struggles of being an empath and how to navigate this added extra gift into the mix. If you feel you might be sensitive or an empath, have a listen and share wtih you empathic/sensitive friends, as there are so many of us just realizing that we have these gifts, and that can be a challenge to navigate with them.

This week we had a beautiful discussion that had me thinking! I have recently been presented with opportunities to speak my truth or choose peace. It became clear to me that sometimes my peace is more important than speaking up. This has changed throughout my journey, as before I would keep the peace and internalize (swallow) my words, which feels very different than making the choice consciously.

Many empaths are the peacekeepers in their circles, and that can feel very frustrating, especially when it is more of an expectation than a conscious choice.
