The “Capable One” Trap: Why Everything Ends Up Depending on You

You built the business dream for freedom—so how did you become the person everything depends on?

Your fierce capability may have helped you manifest and self-actualize your dream. But when that capability began as a survival role in your family of origin, hiring more people or delegating more tasks won’t solve the deeper problem.

In Episode 4 of The No Drama Podcast Series, we explore why founders become the first—and sometimes only—operating system of their business, and what must shift relationally and operationally to create genuine shared ownership.

Because your dream was never meant to depend on your survival capacity—and your success was never meant to cost you yourself.

  • When Achievement Becomes Survival: Why You Can’t Stop Pushing
    2026/10/21

In this episode on manifesting, self-actualization, and living what you were born to do, we talk about what happens when achievement becomes survival — and why you may not be able to stop pushing even after your dream has already begun to take form.

This is Episode 3 of 7 in The No Drama Podcast Series, created to accompany my companion book, From Dreaming to Done: The No Drama Path to Living What You Were Born to Do.

In this conversation, I explore the Spiral Step In — the moment where you begin taking action on behalf of your dream — and how relational drama can interfere with that action when survival energy masquerades as drive.

We talk about family of origin patterns, Relationship 101, the Drama Triangle, parentification, black sheep identity, achievement addiction, and the moment you realize that what looked like ambition, discipline, and being a powerhouse may also have been your nervous system trying to survive.

Because sometimes the dream is not the problem.

    Sometimes the real question is:

Why do I keep pushing? Why can’t I stop? And what has achievement been protecting me from feeling?

In this episode, I also share the No Drama Path to Completion: moving out of Victim, Perpetrator, and Rescuer/Fixer patterns and into Sovereign, Gatekeeper, and Ally.

You’ll be invited to reflect on:

What would it look like to return to aligned, sovereign action on your own behalf?

What would it look like to respond as an ally to your body and honor its signals instead of overriding them?

What would it look like to rebuild the structure that allows your dream to fully land?

If this conversation helped you understand something you’ve been living — maybe something you haven’t had words for before — I’d love to invite you to stay in the conversation with me.

  • You Know What You Want. So Why Do You Keep Abandoning Yourself?
    2026/10/14

Manifesting and self-actualization require more than knowing what you want. They ask you to stop abandoning yourself and your dreams.

You say yes when you mean no. You overgive, overfunction, lower your prices, or put everyone else's needs ahead of your own.

But what if these aren't simply habits? What if they're unconscious relational patterns you learned long ago?

In Episode 2 of The No Drama Podcast Series, we explore how the Drama Triangle pulls you away from your truest Soul Yes—and how to shift into becoming the Sovereign Creator, Ally, and fierce Gatekeeper of your dreams.

Because every authentic NO makes room for your truest Soul YES.

  • #127 Unlock Your Potential: The Real Truth About Dreams
    2026/08/26

Not every dream we chase is truly ours.

In this episode of the Soul Health Mentor Podcast, Nadia explores the difference between socially conditioned ideas of success and the heartfelt dreams that arise from your own values, gifts, and inner knowing.

Building on the previous episode about The Anatomy of a Dream, this conversation looks at what it means to unlock the potential that already lives within you—and why authentic dreams often refuse to fit neatly inside existing systems or structures.

    You’ll hear about:

    • the difference between conditioned dreams and authentic heart’s wishes
    • how family, school, culture, and success norms shape what we think we should want
    • why discovering your own values matters
    • how self-actualization differs from hustle culture and manifestation culture
    • why visionary dreams often require you to trailblaze a path that doesn’t exist yet
    • the role of the Soul Map in recognizing what you were born to do
    • why unlocking your potential is a developmental journey, not an instant breakthrough

This episode also opens the door to a more conversational Soul Health Mentor community. Nadia invites you to share what inspires you, challenges you, creates a breakthrough, or leaves you with a new question.

Because Self-Actualization is the New Manifesting means more than imagining a different life.

It means discovering what is truly yours—and giving it the structure, courage, and devotion to become lived reality.

  • #126 Follow the Dream: Timea Urban on Healing, Courage & Living Your Joy
    2026/08/19

What happens when following your dream asks you to heal, change direction, and make choices that don’t necessarily make sense to anyone else?

In this episode of the Soul Health Mentor Podcast, I sit down with registered nurse, life coach, Reiki Master, podcast host, and founder of The Urban Healer, Timea Urban, for an honest conversation about the courage it took to follow the dream that kept revealing itself to her.

Timea shares the wake-up call that began her healing journey, the years of inner work that followed, and how subconscious reprogramming, nervous system regulation, and somatic healing became foundational pillars of both her own transformation and the work she now shares with others.

Together, we explore her story through the From Dreaming to Done™ Soul Map Spiral—from Dream Spark and Soul Yes through healing, alignment, courageous expression, and ultimately Integration/Done.

We talk about listening to the body when the mind says otherwise, recognizing when relationships and environments are no longer aligned, letting go of society’s definition of success, and developing enough self-trust to keep following your own path.

    And on the other side?

    Joy.

Not a perfect life, but a life that feels like yours.

As Timea reminds us: your dream chose you. Stay in your lane, keep going one step and one breath at a time, and allow your own path to unfold.
