McDonough says it recounts her public downfall, taking readers behind the headlines of her jail time and arrests.Today, she lives in southern Utah surrounded by red rock mountains and five national parks, where she writes, hikes, practices yoga, and explores new cultures through travel.

Sharing life with her rescue dachshund, she continues to tell stories—this time her own—about resilience, redemption, and finding peace after a career spent in the fast lane.
