Bookclub has made it to the big reveal - did we get anything correct in our prior predictions? There's the primary reveal with a fun twin twist as well as the smaller reveal (that might actually be the best reveal) concerning Ana's nature. Throughout it all, there are even more disgusting food scenes but some heartwarming moments between Ana and Din to counteract.

We close out the second book in the Ana and Din Mysteries, we will miss you Malo.

Book club stakes final claims on predictions before we reach the end of the book. We go pretty deep into analyzing Din and Ana together while Din is, let's just say, in a vulnerable environment, and during which a fortune is foretold. We get our first glimpse of the Shroud and all the horror of which it is made out of.

Bookclub continues with A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennet with 25-50% of the book. Discussion includes why people may be talking out loud via tapping, the connection between the pale king and Ana's alterations/race, how living marrow might just be like lab-grown meat, the secret that Ana may or may not be holding, and excitement to see inside the Shroud.

Book club kicks off the second Ana and Din Mysteries installment with A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennett. We drop right into a new mystery with a murder, book club discusses the new location Din and Ana find themselves in, how the Shroud will play into this plot, loving on our new side character, new time time activities of Din's, and some backstory.

Book club finishes the first book in the (supposed) trilogy by Robert Jackson Bennett. How are lobsters related to this book? Listen to find out. Book club discusses the big reveal, Din and Ana's relationship progressing (the big cheating moment), a moment for what could have been an amazing romantic subplot that didn't get enough airtime, and all our predictions for the next book.

Book Club continues with The Tainted Cup, by Robert Jackson Bennett, with the second fourth of the book. There's a fair of information to begin making some end game predictions that are across a lot of possibilities. This discussion includes - were the engineers killed in a cult, a deep appreciation for the world building side of their biological science healing, how does the dead assistant play into the greater picture, is there a bullet hole truly, why does Din have perfect muscle memory, and is someone targeting Ana and that is why she's in the outer cities?

A new book hits the ground running in Book Club this week! We've read Foundry side by Robert Jackson Bennet and decided to take on his new-ish trilogy, The Shadow of the Leviathan, starting with The Tainted Cup.

To kick off a new fantasy world, book club discusses the world building, the magic system, and the main characters. Everyone has a different visual for what the Leviathan looks like within their own mind's eye (with some millennial core references), we're enthused about Din and Ana's chemistry and banter, and have some very early full trilogy predictions on what's happening within the world.

Today, everyone has the same opinion of the end of thisbook: that it’s bad. However, since this is book club, we get specific about our opinions and why we think certainchoices might have been made. Listen to find out!

This book may join our very short ‘highly not recommended,’along with Midnight Library and Grace of Kings.

OUR NEXT BOOK is The Tainted Cup, and we are reading to the end of CH. 10.
