Daniella describes the beginnings of her current relationship, including breaking the news of being stationed in South Korea during a tour in the Air Force. And now, still currently in a long distant relationship, we find out more on how her and her partner navigate their lives together while being apart.

Taking into consideration their personal experience with going long distance, hosts, Jon and Steph join Daniella as we talk about our yearning for traveling, experiencing other cultures, and ways we closed the distance in order to maintain an intentional and engaging relationship despite being hundreds of miles apart.

Out of parental desperation, Stephanie has started a new book called "Wild + Free Family", which is written as a guide to connecting more deeply with your family and building the sense of wonder and adventure in every day life. In it, the book talks about ways to understand your family dynamic and culture. How you are as a parent, how you interact with your kids, values you consider priorities, experiences you share, and how all of that effects how you raise your kids. The book encourages you to reflect on what these values are in your own family, and provides summary questions to go over with your loved one or just you mentally to try and understand what you families makeup, and in this case, our "Family Culture".

So we go over our thoughts and answers to these questions without knowing or preparing in advance! Just raw review

This week on the podcast, Jonathan and Stephanie, are joined by their eldest daughter, Jade, to talk about "Mami's" big change!

The change being....Steph changed her hair color lol. But with such a drastic change we wanted to include Jade for a quick talk on her reaction to seeing her mom now as a Ginger!

Steph captured Jade and Sora's immediate reaction on camera so take a listen and laugh along as Jade gives a background "eww".

While "terrible twos" is a more widely recognized term, "terrible threes" also exist, and some argue they can be even more difficult than the twos....oh great!!!

Lately hosts, Jonathan and Stephanie, have been having a difficult time dealing with their second child Sora and her behavior. They have struggled figuring out ways to handle her tantrums and outburst so they have asked other parents and are conducting all types of research, but finding the best remedy tonight was a drink and a little venting on the Pod.

Surely they are not alone in feeling stressed and overwhelmed when kids enter the "terrible twos" phase, and if so listen in and get your head nodding as you agree completely with what they are dealing with!

This week in SWTS, we are joined with friend of the pod and Jonathan's best friend Andy Henriquez (female) for a heated discussion: is it ok to have friends with the opposite sex?

Both ladies share their thoughts and push back to friends who think you can’t be friends with the opp sex because of perceived risks involved, and giving personal examples as to where that line is drawn.

The discussion begins with Stephanie and Andy sharing in their understanding in the friendship dynamic and how their bond grew from mutual/connected friends to family.

Jonathan joins in the convo and gives his points later in the pod, but just refer to the 10 minute mark!

Hello and Welcome to...the OWL HOUSE!

In this episode hosts, Jonathan and Stephanie, talk about their new found love for a Disney Channel cartoon (mainly Jon), The Owl House!

A show full of magic and adventure captivated Jon so much that he needed to talk about it, and luckily for him, Steph was along for the broom ride with their palismans.

With numerous, interesting characters, great story development and plot twists, Owl House delivers in so many ways. With the show coming to a close for controversial reasons, it makes us wonder what could’ve been.
