Pivot: From Opera to the Other Side - Faye Steinberg

    Description

What happens when the person you're interviewing can communicate with people who are no longer here?

In this episode of Simply Says: Pivoting with Purpose, Nancy sits down with Faye Steinberg, a psychic medium whose life and career have taken her from the opera stage to the world of the paranormal.

A third-generation Calgarian, Faye began her career as a mezzo-soprano opera singer performing under the name Tsepora. But alongside her musical career, she says she has been able to see and hear the other side since early childhood. For more than 30 years, she has worked as a psychic medium, including assisting police and law enforcement agencies with unsolved cases.

Faye is also the creator of Mystic Manor, a historic home in High River known to film fans as the "Superman house," after appearing in Superman III. Built in 1905 and once the community's first hospital, the home has been transformed into a year-round paranormal experience. Unlike a traditional haunted house, Mystic Manor features no actors or manufactured scares. Every room has been designed around Faye's own visions and her decades-long collection of furnishings.

But there's another side to Faye's story. Alongside her work as a medium and the creator of Mystic Manor, she is also CEO of Calgary-based commercial real estate development company LandBank Developments.

In this fascinating conversation, Faye opens up about her experiences, her connection to the other side, and what happens when a lifetime of unusual experiences becomes part of your everyday reality.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Faye's early experiences seeing and hearing the other side
    • Her unexpected journey from opera singer to psychic medium
    • What mediumship means to her and how she describes communicating with spirits
    • Her work with police and law enforcement on unsolved cases
    • The story behind Mystic Manor and its history as High River's first hospital
    • Balancing her work as a psychic medium, entrepreneur and CEO
    • What manifestation, intuition and being open to the unknown mean to her

Whether you're a believer, a skeptic or simply curious about what might exist beyond what we can see, Faye's story is sure to make you think twice about what happens on the other side.

Sometimes the most unexpected pivots take us into worlds we never imagined.
