Ancient Greece was responsible for transforming justice from a personal matter into a public institution and as a result began a process that laid foundations that still influence modern legal systems today. Learning about Ancient Greece from its beginnings in the Neolithic Age through to the conquering by Rome, Greece brought laws, policing, and corrections to another level not yet seen.
