このコンテンツについて

This is Silent Killers a new podcast series from Face2Face and the International Campaign to Ban Landmines.

In 1997, the world came together to say no more, to landmines, to war’s forgotten victims, and to the silent threat buried beneath the feet of millions. The result was the Mine Ban Treaty, a landmark moment in international humanitarian law.

But today, that threat is far from over.

From Cambodia to Ukraine, from Afghanistan to Angola. Landmines still claim lives, shatter communities, and prevent peace from taking root.

In this series, we go behind the headlines. We hear from survivors, activists, policymakers, and frontline deminers and voices of courage, resilience, and change.

We explore the legacy of the Ottawa Treaty… the hard lessons learned… and the path ahead to a mine-free world.

Because the fight isn't finished.

And until every mine is cleared — no one is truly safe.

This is Silent Killers.

    Introducing Silent Killers

A new podcast from Face2Face and the International Campaign to Ban Landmines. In our premiere episode, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Jody Williams reflects on the historic 1997 Mine Ban Treaty and the global grassroots movement that helped make it happen. With unflinching honesty and hard-won hope, she reminds us that change is possible. When the power of one becomes the power of the collective. From Cambodia to Ukraine, the danger is real, the work is urgent, and the path to peace is still under our feet.

    Coming Soon.
