A punk and a metalhead started a podcast because they want to show each other records and they both have ADHD and need to make the other listen to and now they're going to make you listen to them. Side One/Side B with Dave & Steve is a podcast put together with two bandmates with ADHD who have a similar Venn diagram of music tastes, but Dave comes at it from the punk perspective and Steve from the heavy metal perspective. It’s kind of like crossfire, except we don’t hate each other, or make Jon Stewart sad.

Double Trouble Live is a double LP live album by American rock group Molly Hatchet, released in 1985. Two previously unreleased songs, "Walk on the Side of the Angels" and "Walk with You" were omitted in the CD edition to fit all the music on a single compact disc. The cover of "Freebird" and "Edge of Sundown" were songs usually performed by lead singer Danny Joe Brown and The Danny Joe Brown Band during his period of absence from Molly Hatchet.

  • "My headphones, they saved my life, your tape It lulled me to sleep, to sleep, to sleep." this week our guest Jake Duncan brings in one of his favorite albums and we check out POST (1995) by Icelandic sing BJÖRK!

Post is the second studio album by Icelandic singer Björk.[a] It was released on 12 June 1995 by One Little Indian Records. Continuing the style developed on her first album Debut (1993), Björk conceived of Post as a bolder and more extroverted set of songs than its predecessor, featuring an eclectic mixture of electronic and dance styles such as techno, trip hop, IDM, and house, alongside that of ambient, jazz, industrial, and experimental music. Björk produced Post herself with co-producers including Nellee Hooper, 808 State's Graham Massey, and former Massive Attack member Tricky. She wrote most of the songs after moving to London and intended the album to reflect her new life in the city.

  • 'A love supreme, A love supreme, A love supreme..." this week Sean brings in a jazz record! We're listening to A LOVE SUPREME (1964) by saxophonist JOHN COLTRANE
    2026/07/17

A Love Supreme is an album by the American jazz saxophonist and composer John Coltrane. It was recorded in one session on December 9, 1964, at Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, with a quartet featuring pianist McCoy Tyner, bassist Jimmy Garrison, and drummer Elvin Jones.

A Love Supreme was released by Impulse! Records in January 1965. Referred to as the saxophonist's "definitive tone poem", it ranks among Coltrane's best-selling albums and is widely considered one of the greatest masterpieces in the history of jazz and one of the greatest albums ever made.[2] It was nominated for the 1966 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Album.

A Love Supreme is a through-composed[3] suite[4] in four parts: "Acknowledgement" (which includes the oral chant that gives the album its name), "Resolution", "Pursuance", and "Psalm". Coltrane plays tenor saxophone on all parts. One critic has written that the album was intended to represent a struggle for purity, an expression of gratitude, and an acknowledgement that the musician's talent comes from a higher power.[5] The album's improvisational and spiritual intensity has led some to liken it to glossolalia, or speaking in tongues, as it conveys a profound sense of ecstatic devotion
