In this episode, Juani shares the wisdom he’s gained from working with ayahuasca and other healing plants from the Amazon and North America for the last 26 years. I’m deeply grateful to him and the medicine he serves, as the ceremonies he guides with these sacred plants helped me emergefrom a long period of depression and anxiety.

Juani’s work with plant medicine began with a spiritual group from Brazil and his first teacher within the tradition of Pervuian vegetalismo. He has spent the majority of his life traveling throughout Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Central America and the US learning from healers and teachers of indigenous and mestizo traditions. Juani’s work is centered in traditional Amazonian medicine but he has a diverse background with in-depth knowledge and lessons from many traditional indigenous cultures. He gathers and cooks the plants he works with inceremonies, thus having deep knowledge of the remedy he serves. Juani believes that a major key to live healthy is self responsibility and he is here to help you understand and implement that belief into your life. He believes that the truework is in the everyday and that it is possible to learn from the past in order to create the future by living harmoniously in the present.
