And if it is to, let's say, journal, be a writer, compose poems or journal things about your pathway on your journey as a caregiver. Write them down and share them. Even if it means just a little bit of walking or a little bit of gardening in your garden, or just maybe taking a little walk around the corner, maybe to the local Starbucks, pick yourself up a coffee or iced tea."

"If help is needed with bathing or other personal care tasks, you may want to consider hiring a home health aide to help your loved one. Also, does the home that your loved one lives in need changes for easier access or movement, such such as ramps or handrails or grab bars. Some programs are available for seniors that will provide the installation of these items. Also, ask your physical or ask your loved one's occupational therapist to identify ways to modify the home to fit your loved one's needs."
