Another Robert Zemeicks classic starring Tom Hanks as the titular Forrest Gump, a man with a below average IQ who is present for some of the best and worst moments of American and world history. With a supporting cast of Robin Wright as Jenny, Gary Sinise as Lt. Dan, Mykelti Williamson ad Bubba, and Sally Field as forrest's mother, Forrest Gump made its way to the Oscar podium to accept 6 awards.
