On today's episode Rick takes a look at the complicated story of race relations in America during the Baby Boomer era. He looks back on his experience of being a high school student during the Civil Rights Movement and how sports played a big role in diffusing tension throughout that pivotal time in American history. Plus, he sits down with his pal George Hirthler an Atlanta-based writer/producer, Olympic campaign strategist, author, amateur sports historian and CEO of Hirthler & Partners. George is a lifelong peace activist with nearly 35 years of experience in the global Olympic movement and over 50 years of professional experience in writing and producing creative projects in print, film and digital forms. His new film "The Games in Black and White". For this exciting new film Bob Judson and George Hirthler aim to shine a light on the partnership that brought the Olympic Games to Atlanta in the first place – that between businessman Billy Payne and Civil Rights icon Andrew Young.
