In this episode, I’m diving into one of the most important (and honestly, hardest) skills I’ve had to learn as a woman with ADHD: setting boundaries and learning to say no.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying the weight of everyone else’s expectations while your own priorities get pushed to the side, you’re not alone. I share how I’ve been practicing clearer communication about who I am, what I value, and what I’m available for (both in business and in my personal life).
I also open up about my budgeting journey and how it’s forced me to take a closer look at where my time, money, and energy are really going. Saying no to things that don’t align with my long-term goals has been tough, but it’s also incredibly freeing!
We’ll talk about:
Why “no” is a complete sentence (and why it feels so hard to say it).
How communicating your values can strengthen your relationships instead of straining them.
My real-life examples of prioritizing what matters most, from debt payoff to daily routines.
Practical ways to start practicing boundaries even in small, everyday decisions.
If you’ve been struggling to balance other people’s needs with your own goals, this episode will give you permission (and some practical tools) to start choosing yourself first.
Boundaries protect your energy, time, and priorities not just from others, but from yourself.
ADHD makes prioritization trickier, but it also makes it even more important to focus on what really matters.
Clear communication helps empower others to respect your needs and support you, whether in friendships, family, or business.
Saying “no” is a skill you can practice. I encourage you to start small, it does get easier with time!
